Inside London's Most Dangerous Ghetto 🇬🇧

I came to London's most dangerous and roughest areas to see if the rumours were true, starting with Tower Hamlets which has a notorious reputation. My local friend ‪@Abzventure‬ led me into the 'ghetto' to see if the hype of the place was legit, the answers were certainly mixed...
Then we headed to Newham with ‪@Kingkayaamedia‬ who showed us around another supposedly rough area of London where he grew up. We meet the locals who share their thoughts if this really is a place you should avoid. Welcome to London! 🇬🇧

Those responsible for destruction are muslims of India, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Middle East, Bangladesh. I don't think Christian, Hindu, Buddhist, Zoroastrian Indians or non muslim Persians, Jews are causing any sort of problems. They are highly educated on average and have highest household incomes and most university degrees. They don't deal with drugs, seek human welfare or asylum or rape. Moreover except for your communist, globalist prime minister who is an exception I don't think in general hindu and Christian migrants from India are causing any poverty, violence in England.

Moreover except for your communist, globalist prime minister who is an exception I don't think in general hindu and Christian migrants from India are causing any poverty, violence in England. Actually India Today is one of the largest economic powers and currently the fastest growing economy in the world under the current leadership. Today India is completely different from what it was in 1980 when the country was closed to the global investors and economy. Check the statistics of United Nations Development Programme, World Bank, International Monetary Fund and Morgan and Stanley - they have clearly mentioned that currently only 14% of the population of India live below poverty line and in last decade 450 million Indians have been lifted out of absolute poverty. Moreover one more strong evidence is the rapidly growing middle class and the booming consumer market. India Today has the fastest growing consumer market in the world the reason why numerous global brands have and are opening their business in India. Even in the infrastructure case, there is a massive upgradation going on currently. You see the latest global news reports. Boeing, Airbus have received their largest purchase orders which are also the largest in the entire history of aviation from Indian airline carrier groups like Air India, Indigo. The reason behind this, more and more number of Indians are travelling by air with more and more airports being built throughout India by the government because the domestic part of India's air transport is far larger than the international part. Thirdly, India's recent upgradation of its railways with its new fleet of semi high speed trains like Vande Bharat and building of tunnels through mountains in Northwestern and Northeast Indian Himalayas and it's rapidly growing highway, expressway networks and bridges- the Atal sea link recently constructed connecting Mumbai to Pune over the Arabian Sea. Lastly India recently have became successful in constructing an underwater metro railway.

Had a couple of guys walk right up to my kids pushchair giving me a stare I’ll never forget. I stared back at them with so much hatred because they were doing it to my kid, and I’ll be honest I would have defended my kid my last breath. It's the same story all over the UK - a minority of bad people ruining things for the majority of good people. London is no different, but due to its size, the antics of the bad minority get amplified. Having said that, this country definitely has a problem with knife crime. But what do you expect when the Conservatives have vastly reduced police numbers? Remember that when you go to vote later this year. Not saying Labour or any other party will be better, but we know for a fact what the Tories are like, and it isn't good for the regular folk like us.

There is nothing wrong with some diversity, but I think replacing the main people of any country is a disgrace. There is no integration. Dr's are hard to see. Schools full. Dentists no longer accepting NHS patients. Hospital waiting lists up to 3 years long. Housing can't keep up with the demand and nearly always the English are at the back of the list for social housing. I understand that the Conservatives caused this, but that doesn't make it right. I've been to Tower Hamlets (Bow, Bromley, Shoreditch), Hackney, Newham (really just the Westfield Stratford Center) alone both day and night. Only in certain parts of Bow / Bromley-by-Bow did I ever feel a bit uneasy. And I'm from Oregon (U.S.). All these places look quite charming. Nothing like the rough areas in Philly (Kensington) or St. Louis (Northside). The train prices are comparable to NYC to DC, a similar distance of about 200 miles.

So, when I was last in London, my 10 year old daughter and I ended up wandering around Tower Hamlets (Whitechapel area) looking for an address that we couldn’t find as my phone died. It was 6-8 pm on a Saturday evening. I might add that we’re Americans so it was all new to us. Yeah, it seemed dodgy but frankly not that bad. We ran into some very nice people who were quite helpful. Never felt endangered. I’m sure it’s rough late at night, but compared with most US cities, it wasn’t that bad. It was, however, heavily Bangladeshi which was somewhat of a culture shock to be sure. Have to totally agree with what your mates were saying there. Great video, btw!

Ben, I am sure it is possible to get a lower priced rail ticket, but it is necessary to plan ahead, have a railcard and be prepared for split ticketing (two or more tickets for the same journey). As for the areas of London, in Newham at the Westfield shopping center (Stratford) there are regular announcements warning people to keep their valuable secure and safe from theft. They wouldn't do that our of joy. This is next to the London 2012 Olympic Park, which is a fab place to visit. Unfortuntely knife crime is a problem in London in general, and you are more likely to get a ticket for speeding in one of the too many 20mph roads than be picked up for having a knife. I used to live nearby but escaped to the coast a few years ago. I go back by train now and again, the whole of East London into Essex has changed, I recognise the roads but little else.

Please there are many other countries far far worse than India. You are anti India racist because you fail to understand that majority of those illegals who are bringing down your country are middle East/ African/ Pakistani folks and even if they are from India they are muslims. Stop involving Buddhists, Christians, Hindus.

The blame is to be put on muslims and not Asians like Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Nepalese, non muslim Indians who are hardworking and law abiding.

I would go past that Tower block you were at all the time on the bus and I kept thinking it must be earmarked for demolition cause it always looked like it was empty when you looked at it 😂. I still like visiting London and exploring but I must admit I tend not to go into the London boroughs anymore and normally stay central. The only way you can truly understand what it's like to live in east London is to actually live there. It's alright and largely agree if you mind your own business you're normally alright. It is true there are good and bad areas all over the country tbf.

I'm new to your channel so if you haven't done so, do the other 30 boroughs of London and show how the differences across the city. You won't be able to do them all in a day. It's a great city to be in - that's why so many from other parts of England end up coming here ;)

A great follow up to this series would be a tour of the US. Baltimore, Detroit, Chicago, San Francisco, and Orlando. Love your work
