So you push a camera in the face of folk living through a rough spot, then drive through a failed "scheme" and call that rough? Bad craic man

The fake doors and windows must look less bleak for the residents who have to walk through those streets. Especially for little children who may just think it's a nicer street than it really is.

The taxi driver was awesome! I always get frustrated in Asia with Taxi drivers…like if you didn’t try to rip me off and told me a fair price, I would have probably given you double or triple anyway as a tip.

Recently as a tourist I got a bus from Cardiff to the London Heathrow Airport , a very good quality bus , the fare was fairly cheap , I think the buses in the U.K are far cheaper than the trains .

I seems surprising that you had to pay £120 for the single to Paddington. A ticket can be obtained for around £70 if you book online and even just very shortly before the journey. Although UK rail fares are high, this is mostly due to the relatively low level of state subsidy from the state compared to many other countries, and although rail services in certain countries can seem cheap for UK travellers, incomes in those countries are often much lower and it is not necessarily cheap for those who live there.

I ain't even gonna lie, I was born in Mile End in Tower Hamlets East London, and lived there for the first 35 years of my life and I used to take the 25 bus up to Stratford almost every Saturday to meet my friends and go shopping 🛍️ and cinema. I would go past that Tower block you were at all the time on the bus and I kept thinking it must be earmarked for demolition cause it always looked like it was empty when you looked at it 😂. I still like visiting London and exploring but I must admit I tend not to go into the London boroughs anymore and normally stay central. The only way you can truly understand what it's like to live in east London is to actually live there. It's alright and largely agree if you mind your own business you're normally alright. It is true there are good and bad areas all over the country tbf.

Total bull if you book online a few weeks before the train ticket is much cheaper. There are also buses at £9.99

With Croydon the worst area has to be West Croydon cause that's where all the gangs reside. The main high street is getting refurbished to apparently put in a Westfield, but the council/developers have been saying it for 10 years. But honestly it's not as bad as people say it is.
