A lot of us are talking and don't see how these exorbitant prices that people just can't afford is going to do sustain itself in a year it's probably gonna go under. In fact their are a lot of cancelations on the reservation calendar.

So this is just a normal suite with an extra bed? Not exactly worth 15k if you ask me.

Spencer, I hope you didn't have to pay for ANY part of your trip. It looks like a nicely maintained Las Vegas type room, but it is definately not worth $15000. Am I the only one that thinks this suite is sterile and uninviting? Hospital chic vibe? I just don't get it but I'm also not a Star Wars aficionado Im sure that has something to do with it. Easy now, it's just my opinion. Nonetheless its very cool that you got to tour this room. Thanks Spencer!

15 grand to stay in a space themed Embassy Suites - got it. The Galactic Starcruiser was charging way more than a 5 star resort but gives 3 star accomodations - you can stay in a penthouse at a Waldorf-Astoria and save money.

The room is awesome, but it is NOT $15,000 awesome!!!

How do you determine who sleeps where if you all paid equal amounts? I wouldn't want some uncomfortable prison bed from the wall if I paid the same amount as the guy in the nice bed.

soooo...all it is really is 3 standard rooms, 1 of them left normal, 1 with a bigger bed and no bunks, and in the third where the bathroom would be they used that plumbing for the sink and bar, and they put a couch where the big bed would be and left the pull-down bunk. Oh, and they cheaped out and instead of putting in the door and glass like the rest of the showers, they hung up a curtain. And since it's 3 rooms, it's 3 times the price, but with less sleeping space so fewer people can split up the cost. I just really don't understand the theming here. This ship is supposed to be a LUXURY starcruiser, but they fit out the rooms like it's a battlecruiser and living space is at a premium. The rooms are about 180 sq ft or less, I read, while a Deluxe Family Oceanview Stateroom on the Disney Dream which sleeps 4-5 people is about 256 sq ft. That's almost 50% more room. (And by the way, you pay less for that cruise ticket and you get more nights out of it.) More to the point, you have passengers doing the work that a *crew* should be doing with tasks in engineering and on the bridge. What's next? They put you to work in the kitchens? I'm a HUGE Star Wars nerd, I love most of the franchise, about 90% of it these days, and I don't *hate* the sequels even if I don't think the story makes much sense, so I'd be onboard for this experience, honestly. BUT...this is not being geared towards the average fan. There is no way I will ever be able to afford this "cruise" and given what I have seen of the rooms, I just can't feel like it's worth the cost. Even if it was OT themed, I could not justify spending that much money on what is essentially a 2-day escape-room/LARP event, even one as slickly produced as this one. No shade on the cast, they are all excellent at what they are doing, and I admire their ability to improv their way through the daily tasks dealing with us geeks, most of whom are actually socially awkward and find interacting with strangers to be intimidating as hell. But these rooms probably won't look this pristine a year from now, and I'd be interested to see how long they can keep this up.

You can go in the captain suite on the actual disney cruise for 4 nights maybe more for that price and have an even bigger room with a balcony and I believe concierge service..... yeah cool but definitely not worth that price not even if they start including the clothes like they originally hinted they were going to do

Disney shot themselves in the foor because they paid for vloggers to stay 2 nights at this "star wars" hotel for free and gave the media only a few hours and they gave the vloggers this free stay under their conditions that they say only good things about their free stay here or they won't be invited back to any more Disney media events . It doesn't look like star wars to me , it looks like you are staying at a 5th element hotel with some light sabers and storm troopers sprinkled in

I always get the Royal Suites on their cruise ships (the new Wish is amazing.... been on them all except the Fantasy) ..... so I'm use to throwing down $20-30k for a room ...... but there's no way I'd do it for this room. They should have put in time for more special star wars touches (the one flower thing is cool but that's it??) for that price.
