Grew up and graduated from BSHS. In 1990 I was able to go there with a friend and sat and talked with Lonnie in the kitchen while Muhammad did his prayers in the living room. Thrill of a lifetime meeting him two times. He was a very nice and humble guy, not the persona he put on during his boxing days.

I meet him twice the first time at the Boy's Club back in the mid 1970's then in the early 1990's when he came to Eastern Michigan University in Ypsilanti. A very kind man & I still have the autographed photo from the 1970's. R.I.P. Champ thanks for great memories.

I mowed the pasture around that home. I worked for the man who managed it for many years. His father built it when he was a very young man. Went on a tour inside the home with him one time. Nice place.

Why isn't it kept as a part of the champs legacy.. Its seems sad to let go of something he spent a lot of time in xx

Lonnie is mean. She could give that house to Muhammad Ali jr. Who's living in poverty in Chicago.

Ali Jr got a few million dollars from Ali's will. Then he left his wife and kids behind in a dump of a house, meanwhile being unemployed for years living off his wife. So it goes to show why she never gave him the house.

He got his share of inheritance, left his wife and kids, blew his millions within a year. One can imagine what he would do with the house. 🤷🏿♀️

She is not mean at all! I lived right down the road from them when I was little. She is very kind, just like he was.

Muhammad Ali estate $2 million while he was the world’s greatest that ever lived, and Soulja Boy’s mansion is probably 20-30 million while he’s the trashest rapper that ever lived
