I don’t like her character because she isn’t tested no one is equal to her at all unlike tvd and original. For instance Damon= Stefan Klaus=Marcel because he’s stronger than all of the other mikealsons. See where I’m going, where Hope rival? He or she is no where to be found and the writers need to fix that by adding a unknown family member the mix like a brother because a sister rivalry won’t work out like a brother and sister rivalry. Btw he shouldn’t be from hayleys bloodline. But a witch he should be his mother, or a werewolf

I can not imagine anyone else as Hope, she looks like Phoebe Tonkin (Hayley Marshall) and Joseph Morgan (Klaus Mikaelson) combined and has *amazing* acting skills, not to mention she’s beautiful. And for her body, sure it might not be the expected size, but she isn’t fat she has curves, her body is goals. No one can beat that.

Pretty sure it was extremist klaroline fans who wanted a klaroline baby and apparently Hope's existence threatens their delusional dreams of klaroline being soulmates. Making only those cringey edits of baby Hope calling Caroline mom wasn't enough for them and they had to hate on Danielle too.

i look up to her a lot because I have a very big chest like she does, as well as similar curves. it helps my self esteem because I see this woman who looks like me becoming the main character and loving her body. It gives me hope, pun not intended.

jenny does NOT look 16, at all. i wouldn’t say she looks 29 but none of the characters look remotely close to 16 except for kaylee. look up 16 year olds in Virginia (where the show is based) and put her face up as a comparison. she looks like an adult.

It makes it more unbelievable that she's playing a twin compared to the actress that plays Josie. I am a fraternal twin and we are completely opposite in everything for height to skin tone but we at least look around the same age.

I think it’s so important to see normal bodies in lead roles. She’s not promoting an unhealthy body but a body that most people have because everyone isn’t 5’8 and stick figure skinny. I’m glad to see bodies like her’s on my tv and hope to see more in the future

Hope is seriously perfect for the role. It feels like she is truly Hayley and Klaus' daughter. I have shown someone who hadn't watch The Originals and Legacies, Hayley, Klaus, and Hope, and they agreed she is perfect. Danielle Rose Russell is gorgeous. I cannot believe that anyone would have the audacity to call her fat. There are so many people who struggle with self-image and it is because of people like that there are so many issues. Suicide, anoxeria, depresssion, etc., is largely caused by people who hide behind their phones ridiculing everyone. Also, shorter people typically have different body frames. Danielle is 5'3''. Her height is cute to me. **Okay, sorry for this rant, but I had to express my anger. Hope Mikaelson & Danielle Rose Russell are perfect**

As a woman I am so glad that Danielle is playing Hope. She gives a new "normal" body image for TV. She isn't super thin and doesn't have the "ideal" body type and thats what makes her so incredibly inspiring. We need to normalalize women of ALL shapes and sizes. I am so glad that we have the Hope that we have.

the legacies cast is incredibly diverse and it's appreciated and treated in a really good way. The characters are done in a way where the diversity does not seem to be in your face with a political agenda. The characters are more than just their race and we see them as individuals growing while still getting a splash of culture here and there (Josie's Japanese ep and etc.)

@Sarah Young I've always loved Alaric. I named one of my own characters after him, and I was really glad to hear that Davis was cast in the second spinoff. It was extremely disappointing to hear how much of a piece of shit he is in real life. I don't know how you remove him from the series now. I wish they could find a way, but I worry that it would ruin everything. Noah Wylie can't step up to replace all the bad men.

Stuff like this really makes people like me (that want to do music/acting) scared to try because if you become successful you can almost assume you’ll be shamed in some way if you’re not a stick (but if you’re naturally a stick there is nothing wrong with that either) I use to be too skinny and worried SO much about my body I didn’t see how unhealthy I was being. I’m now 28 and have finally allowed myself to gain weight and just exercise a normal amount of times per week so I have curves. Danielle is absolutely gorgeous and I’m glad she doesn’t try to be like everyone else. At such a young age it’s hard to be yourself. She’s strong. I hope if I ever get somewhere I can also help encourage people to embrace their bodies. 🥺🖤

Honestly I'm glad Danielle plays Hope. Her casting was spot on. She can pass as Phoebe and Joseph's daughter. Also Since when did having a bigger chest mean your fat? Her body is goals, she's not fat at all she's curvy. I do wish they would let Hopes powers shine more because honestly lets be real she's 10x stronger than the twins. I just hope they don't ruin her storyline or her character she is honestly my favorite even in the Originals.
