The Magic Castle is an exclusive club in Los Angeles, run by the Academy of Magical Arts, that bills itself as “the most unusual private club in the world.” On a typical evening this members-only club hosts numerous magic shows, has a full-service dining area and bars, and enforces a strict dress code. If you visit the castle website you can become an associate member these are people that love the art of magic. I believe there is a four month waiting period but if you really love magic and are not a magician and want to get into the castle this is your way to go.

Now he told his wife that he would try to contact her beyond the grave once he passed and told her to listen for "Rosebelle believe." She spent about a decade trying and never heard anything. That is why they have those Houdini seances to this day.

I'm pretty sure there was a double-lift involved when he showed that queen card as an example, but there were like zero other movements at all in the whole trick where he could've pulled some sleight of hand stuff. Did he somehow force her to pick Jack of Spades? Please, someone explain!

ordered deck, double lift, flipped it back over and put the jack in her hand. The super impressive part is the fact he cut to the right place in the deck, unless he did it a different way.

Got the 8 of hearts to the top of deck (many ways, I did see a fake cut) then palm it before reaching for the box. The box then hid the card when lifted, then release the palm and let it fall. (You'll also see the card falls sideways because it's palmed)

The precise cuts in an ordered deck are the impressive part. He didn't dig through the deck to find the 8, he cut to a specific spot because he knew the 8 was there. That is the "magic" part to me.

He put the jack under the queen in the deck and when putting it in her hand, he very quickly changed it. I know it's almost impossible to see but these magicians are so fast

The 'skill' was finding the Jack in the deck so fast, locking it in place to do the cut; then, he placed it below the Queen and held them as one card to show. When he turns the Queen over, the Jack is paired with it on the back (as one card) So when he places the turned card in her hand (The Jack) it appears to be the Queen. As for the other trick goes...NO IDEA! LOL. Care to share?

How a single company can systematically destroy every other business, one by one, until they are a complete monopoly, all in America, where monopolies were once considered illegal but were able to lobby Congress to ignore that law. A company that somehow makes $10 billion a week, during a global pandemic, where people are suffering. And on top of all of that, pays $0 in taxes. That's magic.

Yes, if it make you happy, I can appreciate and admire the years of hard work and dedication that goes into performing these tricks. But I don't consider it magic.
