@pauljoseph30818 жыл бұрын
That was indeed a FOUL but Manu is a Champ and will not ever cry about it coz the game is already over. They have to deal with OKC on the road, that's what a winner truly is. And, they had their chance. A last attempt to get a W but they failed. It is what it is and move on. The good thing is they still have a few games to win to close the series.

Technically he stepped on the line during the inbound so it's kinda fair, but if the spurs shoot well, they'll win the series.

+Boom Box The refs even agreed they missed the call and you won't? I'm just saying Manu doesn't give a damn about it anymore coz the game's over. Move on and stop crying. And stop that flopping issue you have since all players do that every once in a while and it's kinda crazy to hear that you noticed them flopping 24/7. You stalker? Or some kind of a emotional fan?

Thank you manu for being mature. The game is over, Ever if you're right there was a call, the game is over there's nothing you can do. And if you watched the rest of the game San Antonio still had a chance to win. Patty mills could've laid the ball up but air balled a 3.

Kenny and Shaq are right. If they had called a technical, the Spurs would have gotten a free throw and tied the game and the possession. all without losing any time on the game clock. which would have been enough time for Pop to draw up a play and for the team to execute a play. if they didn't make the shot, it would have gone into OT.

@testadizzy958 жыл бұрын
i think it should be an offensive foul, not tech. There was no "unsportsmanlike contact" in that Dion's elbow, like Manu put it, he was just trying to create space for the inbound.

It should've been an offensive foul, you don't use your elbow or extended forearm on offense or defense to create space, even when it's on the inbound.

PEOPLE the reason why the ref missed the call is because right when dion waiters landed that elbow on manu, the ref put his down for a second and looked at dions feet. He did not see the elbow. The ref looked at dions feet simultaneously as when the elbow was landed. Watch the replay and look closely at the ref. That is why nothing was called.

Lol, Kenny and Shaq totally ignored the possibility of Popovich calling a timeout right after Danny Green stole the ball. He could still have drawn a play without the violation call. But he didn't want to.
@somenextdouche8 жыл бұрын
+KayJayA7X there was little defense. patty mills just choked. that pass by manu was great.
@BellinghamJude8 жыл бұрын
somenextdouche Manu should have went for the floater because he's pretty much open. Sure, Mills was even more open, but Manu, as a legend for San Antonio, should have took responsibility for that potential game-winning shot.
@lickheaddarry91238 жыл бұрын
+KayJayA7X The thing is, the Spurs is a "TEAM". That's how they play, I'm open, but you are more open, so you take the shot.
@BellinghamJude8 жыл бұрын
Holy Dave And that's why they lost then. Plain and simple. If Curry has a floater, he's not gonna pass it out to say Brandon Rush for a 3 no matter how open he is. Curry is a team legend and he's taking responsibility for the shot. You wanna pass, you lose. Simple.
@somenextdouche8 жыл бұрын
KayJayA7X if manu missed the shot, everyone would be saying he shouldve passed to mills who was wide open and has enough time to gather and shoot. you cant tell for sure. even open layups missed sometimes. just watch shaqtin a fool and youll see.

@geraldos90948 жыл бұрын
Ginobili was over the line, his foot and hands crossed the line several times...therefore it was no offensive foul. If Ginobili would've been behind the line, it would've been more difficult to create a offensive foul. I my opinion, the non foul call was the correct call.
@kennysmith19258 жыл бұрын
The refs have never seen that before. You can have a court case on what call it should be. U can't blame the refs
@remkojg8 жыл бұрын
it was also backcourt
@kennysmith19258 жыл бұрын
It was not backcourt. The team has to control(holding or dribbling)of the ball in order for it to be backcourt. In a throw in situation no team has control of ball (same as jump ball). Ref'n ain't so easy huh?
@Sai46513 жыл бұрын
I love Manu, but his foot was too close to the line, as a matter of fact, according to the 2 minute report, it should have been called a tech, so Waiters hitting Manu was another missed call. And everything that happened after that, more missed calls. Refs blew it

@kitzpamalos64218 жыл бұрын
Have you seen it when Dion elbowed him? His foot was inside. Terrible no call.
@lucasrodriguez63518 жыл бұрын
Listen, I'm not a fan of either team and this is what I saw. Manu was touching waiters before the elbow. The elbow came because he was still touching waiters WHILE OUT OF BOUNDS. I would've assessed double techs to BOTH PLAYERS. Thunder ball about the same time, probably about the same score. Also, I think it was a flop by Manu that deserved a fine.
@RyanAustinDean8 жыл бұрын
Look again. Waiters had room behind him, but chose to stay that close to the line. He's not supposed to cross the line with the ball. Manu was so close because Waiters didn't back up. But then Manu went over the line, which was a violent. Stepped back, but still close. Waiters threw an elbow, which was an obvious foul. Meanwhile, two Spurs players were bear-hugging Thunder players. A few seconds later, Aldridge got clobbered. By the refs' own admission in their report, they missed five calls in the final 14 seconds.
@Nikohhh048 жыл бұрын
Blatant push off by Waiters, but Ginobli also stepped over the out of bounds line and didn't give Waiters the 3 ft necessary by rule. Overall just a crappy last sequence, and one of the rare times when Ginobli, a well known flopper throughout his career, didn't get a call when he finally didn't flop, lol.

@sounddoctorin8 жыл бұрын
+Commander1991NOR I'm neutral. It was a clear violation and should have minimally resulted in a turnover and no clock advancement until SA inbounded it. derp. Just ridiculous. One of the worst oversights by a ref in nab history
@filebucket8 жыл бұрын
rarely I agree with chuck, but he got this one right for once. This atrocious no call Play decided the fate of an already lost game. In other words it ultimately didn't decide the game. The spurs lost 4 times before the game ended - miraculously climbed back and the mongoloid officiating at the end sealed their fate.

@sounddoctorin8 жыл бұрын
Sorry but their steal left them OFF BALANCE which made it more difficult to get a bucket out of it.... the guy clearly bashed the player out of the way. Minimally offensive foul- ball goes to SA. Dumb. Unbelievable there was no call. HAD they gotten the ball and had time to organize a play, chances are higher that they would have scored period.
@hajime35708 жыл бұрын
Manu's hands were out of bounds and he is clearly within 3 ft
@sounddoctorin8 жыл бұрын
? Hajime...I think you may be thinking of high school rules or something. I can't find a 3 foot rule in the NBA manual on page 30 or 34 both which relate to the throw in. Regardless a guy almost PUSHED OVER the defender here. IF there was a violation (I see guys all the time within 3 foot and I've never seen anyone called for it in NBA ball. Have you? PROBABLY because there is no such rule) then that doesn't excuse the flagrant foul. BUT like I say the ball came over the line and touched a player. lol. you can't just say 'no call' on a thing like that. The ref was out to lunch.
@lukeshepherd18748 жыл бұрын
+sounddoctorin So then the ref missed a call. Spurs still had the ball. And a 3 on 1 and they still blew it. If Popovich wanted a timeout he could've taken it, but he likd the 3 on 1 so he didn't call one. Spurs had their chance and they didn't convert, game over. The blown call had a very very small impact on the outcome because the Spurs got the ball anyways.
@sounddoctorin8 жыл бұрын
***** I don't see a point. They made a missed call. I'd have called a technical since he basically reached in bounds and punched the guy. He lost the ball for crossing the plane of the out of bounds line with the ball. THEN he got a technical on top of that for punching the player to get him out of the way. Free throws. That's how it should have gone down.
