this the celtics i expected to see coming off last season. the shot-making is great, sure. but it’s the defense that really got them on my radar. i was very disappointed with how it seemed like only a shadow of their no. 1 defense remained since udoka was sacked, so watching them draw that out to glide through this game was nice. miami made a mistake not closing out at home when they could. we’ll see if they have enough left to stop the celtics, who are currently on the verge of breaking out of their struggles.

@@Dredahooper the nuggets are loosely comparable to Philly in the sense that they are built around a big and an elite P and R ball handler surrounded by shooting. The Celtics match up much better with those teams than teams built around wings.

Man, Miami is held together by tapes and glues at this point another bad break with injuries to a member that contribute a lot to their scoring and game play. The difference in this series like what most of us already knew , comes down to the depth of talents and the 3s. Celtics has better talent but always has problem if it is close game and late game execution. These 2 wins they don't need to be in that trenches because their 3 points return to fall in the basket. Next game is all on Miami, if they play lethargic they will open the door to the worst side of history. But either way, I have a hard time seeing any of these team beating Nuggets that's playing with historical performance.
