When an Kyle Sandler, an ex-Google employee, arrived in Opelika, many thought that he would help boost its declining economy. However, he ended up defrauding residents and exploiting a teenage entrepreneur.
In 2016, 14-year-old Taylor Rosenthal was on top of the world. The high school student had been interviewed by some of the country’s major news outlets and was even set to participate in the biggest start-up event in the United States.
Unfortunately, though, he would soon find out that his success was built on lies perpetrated by his mentor.
