MEET the skin cancer surgeon, who owns the world’s largest yo-yo collection - worth $250,000. Doctor Lucky Meisenheimer bought his first yo-yo as a teenager and has been collecting them ever since, now owning over 10,000 yo-yo’s. The Surgeon, from Orlando, Florida, has even turned part of his family home into a yo-yo museum that displays his prized collection. Lucky said: “I own around 10,000 yo-yo’s of which 5000 are different. You can never have too many yo-yo’s.Despite having thousands of yo-yo’s to choose from, Lucky still has clear favourites - including his most unique yo-yo that has a laser attached.

0:22 That Yoyo he holds that if you look close enough Flores Yoyo, a Filipino Toy maker and Businessman named Pedro Flores brought this Yoyo to mainstream popularity and invented the Sleeper or Gravity Pull on it and Pedro Flores was the one to introduce the first ever Yoyo competition. The word "yóyo" was a Tagalog word that means "come and go" or "come back."

I'm impressed by the fact that he's amassed so many yoyos over such a long period of time and still manage to, seemingly, kind of suck at it. Cool house and collection though. 4:37 stringburns or has he tried to end himself with his own scalpel due to his absence of yoyo skill depression? No judging he has a pretty serious job so the actual time to practice with these may not be there...but still a bit weird.

Skill--It's the one thing he can't buy. I figured he was going to be shitty just by how he presents himself and his collection as sort of the authority on the topic. Duncan put out this documentary in the 00s that looked at the modern history of YoYos beginning in the 1920s, and for some (inexplicable at the time of viewing) reason, this guy was featured way, way more than the rest of the older, far better players. With a bit of $$$ a person can do whatever they want, like insert themselves into a conversation they have zero business in and say way more on a topic than people who are infinitely better than themselves at said topic. I thought it was telling that one of the old YoYo masters featured in the documentary, a guy named Bud, I believe, has one wooden yoyo from the 1950s. The same damn yoyo he used while winning dozens of contests back in the day. He demonstrated for a second before being interrupted by this moron in the video above, and it was clear he still had skills.
