Take a look at the super clean wiring inside my 50w Wangs 2204HW. It's a point-to-point hand-wired clone of the classic Marshall 2204 JCM800. It's hard to get a bad sound out of it, but it really does need an attenuator to get the most out of it - it is insanely loud.
Paired with Celestion Greenbacks, or what I normally run it with - a 1960B from 1982 with vintage G12-65 and UK made G12T-75s, it sounds fantastic and is instant Angus Young.

Its pretty much what Eric Hemard said - its really quiet. Absolutely no noise issues at all. I was sceptical before buying it, but its fantastic.

How does it sound? Any qualms with how it’s wired or part quality?

Sounds great. Sonic Drive Studio did a fantastic comparison with the JCM800 Studio - its a bit fatter. Its a really good quality unit. Almost impossible to get on the second hand market here in London now.

@@guvnafied I watched that video. He can make any amp sound good in a mix. I found the jcm800 studio really harsh sounding in person. My wangs 2204 should arrive at my place next week! I’m excited to hear it in person Edit: Harsh. The jcm 800 studio combo I tried was too bright for my taste.

@@wangsamps Yes! I have played one show with it and a few band practices. It is very bright with my telecaster, but with the right settings I can find a tone I like! So far, I would certainly recommend the amp.

Doesnt need it…the amp is quite as a church mouse
