Күн бұрынToday Architectural Digest is welcomed by Winnie Harlow to tour her glamorous Hollywood home. Having lived in rented apartments her whole life, the supermodel bought her first home in Los Angeles after relocating from New York for the heat and sunshine. This being her first home she was excited to get designing with AD100 authority Martyn Lawrence Bullard. The neutral base of the house layered with soft textures and dramatic accents come together to create a calming sanctuary for Winnie to kick back and relax. “It’s the first house I’ve ever lived in and it is a lot of work,” she says. “Nothing is ever done. There’s always something to do-something to fix or build-but I am up for it all.”

The fun thing about a black and white pallette is when you start adding those pops of color and touches of unique art that can really grow the space's personality as you live in it. Its the canvas, and knicknacks are the paint!. I really love the airiness of the spaces and the fixtures she used, although with two barfingcats I willnever be able to do white carpets, lol 😅😅😅

The thing with these videos is you can kinda tell which celebrities own their forever homes and which ones are just passing through. Take that however you want. But this is one that is either staged just for the video or she's planning on selling and moving later. The decor to some of these are so similar that it just seems they want them to be prepped for potential buyers. Well I guess that also explains the AD interview. Some do it for promotion too though. I like the powder room as that was the only thing not whitewashed. She said she loves color...where is it???
