Iv recently startes dming for two of my friends, and honestly this video and someod your others has helped greatly. Your a hell of a DM and also i find myself watching yiur videos when i need help figureing jut hownto continue my own story. Not just here but also your vldl campaigns. Thanks rob keeo it up

I've been watching your videos and I have kept up with all the dnd vldl stuff over the years. You are by far one of the best dms I have ever seen. Thank you for all the videos and I'm so glad you are continuing! I've started doing dnd with my 4 kiddos 11,9,8,7 and I've modeled alot of how I dm after how you do.

im jumping into D&D in the next few weeks. I want to make a compelling backstory, and I want to be a ranger as i've always liked range, i did (do) tons of range in runescape (and osrs) and i had like 6 marksman spec hunters in wow. I dont want to be a legolas or a hawkeye though. All i have so far is some vague "grew up learning to hunt with a bow, became really good, now adventuring" lol

Don't forget, despite the name, Rangers =/ Ranged. You can be a very effective ranged fighter with pretty much any class.

umm.. sometimes you ask for weird skill checks with different stats as the check usually asks for (like charisma for performance but you ask for constitution for example...). Why is that necessary?
