this TV is for you. At the price you still can enjoy the visuals of newer games
as long as the games you play can be enjoyed at 60FPS. Certain videos being played in HDR do have to be tweaked mainly to your liking do to the default setting being bland

It’s on sale right now again for 350. Moving to a new apartment I think this might be the way to go when trying to stay in a cool 3-500$ range for an all around solid tv? It may not be like a 2K$ smart tv but this is going to get the job done and keep us pretty happy and entertained? Am I hitting the nail on the head? Correct. For all the current consoles and 4k streaming that's available the TV handles it well. I do tell people to get a cheap sound bar because it helps with movies. Ads more bass and can be used along with the TV speakers.

How is the volume? I had Vizio 65inch,and volume was bad,had to go all the way to volume 60 to be alright.

If you're in a big room like me you'll need a Sound Bar. I lucked up and got a Viso sound at with a sub wonder on sale.

How are darks when watching movies, my tv goes almost pitch black every time there is a scene at night

Your backlight is set to low. Try turning it up some and check the scene again

If you do compare it compare it to other TVs around that price. It's not going to look like those 3000$ Oled TVs. Also 75 is huge have to either have mount it how make sure you have a TV stand wide enough to put it on.

The refresh rate on most Insignia TVs is 60Hz. Game mode just helps keep the frame rate as close to 60 as possible. If I'm playing a game where I need 120hz I just switch it over to the monitor using an HDMI switch I bought for 15$.

Yep it even comes with the mounting screws. I have mines mounted on a swivel stand though.

Would depend on what you're comparing it too. Compared to an oled TV then yes but for other led around the same price I don't notice too much of a difference. I would say you can find better TVs on sale since this one is older now.

Nah. Its limited from others but you can set picture settings specific to each input.

Nah. But it's a 60fps TV so it's not working that hard even when playing a game. Haven't had that issue personally with this model. There are much better options out there now so I will be upgrading to an OLED 120hz model soon

You can't. That's not something you can upgrade via software. Best thing you can do is put the settings on PC or Game Mode.

On most games I play I don't notice the difference from any other TV but playing Spider Man on PS5 does feel strange with inputs. Unless your playing a lot of Fighting games it serves its purpose.
