Sighs..... when will people learn to add air to their tyres before driving on sand? Minimum 50 psi, 60-70 is ideal, if your tyres start to spin accelerate hard until you get traction.

People need to learn to air up their tires for sand. Need minimum of 50psi, 70psi is the norm. The extra air in the tires helps to float on the sand.

Can see the disco owners does not know their vehicles. Can clearly see the red disco's wheels are not deflated. Also on the discovery...need to be in Sand mode with traction controle off. Also proper set of all terrain tyres will help alot...

I’m amazed how many people actually pull people out. If I see someone at 8 psi and using tracks and there still stuck I’ll give them a hand but if there sitting there at 20psi shrugging there shoulders they can F off

Low tyre pressures is definitely a big thing - ie. Ive heard stories from oldies about going anywhere in their old holdens etc. as long as the tyre pressures were down enough - BUT - I also can't help wondering whether we're often also seeing issues with 4WD systems just not working properly - ie. front and rear drive not really working with each other or even actively fighting each other... Tyres wearing quickly with normal road driving is probably the tipoff of something nt quite right there...

Serious question. Is the whole beach this soft or just the entrance because of how churned up it is? Stockon and redhead i air down to 12 psi coz it's pretty fluffy sand in most parts.
