Daniel! I take pills regularly. I was prescribed pills at 16, and ever since (7-8 years) I've been taking them almost everyday. I was prescribed rivotril, and then mirtazapene. It's tough for me to leave it now. How do I go about quitting pills? (I've had sleep anxiety for a WHILE)

Misha Ali Hi Misha! Thanks for this question! Briefly - the important thing is to know that pills can’t make you sleep and to make them a non factor when you’re working towards sleeping well. The way you do the latter is to either take the pills every night at the same time like a robot! That way you know that whether you sleep well or little has nothing to do with the pills. Or, not take them at all, then they’re also a non factor. I’ll expand on this in Ask Daniel #30 today!
