Rebecca Lol you make me laugh. Yeah it definitely needs a larger font size, I am surprised I can read this one with my bad eyes. It’s a beautiful Bible though. Publishers need to realize most people care more about a readable font vs a Bible that is a little larger. I’ll take a bigger Bible with a larger font any day! Thank you for watching and commenting. If nothing else I smell amazing every day and it helps me to feel more human since I’m working from home and not getting dressed for an office setting every day. These bibles are both so beautiful! I really love both bibles but the Gold hard covered one is the one I will order. They’re pretty Bibles. I personally like the gold one because the cover is more durable and the page edges are awesome! I love all the colors. It’s just a great Bible in general. I’ve been seeing these Bibles everywhere on bible journaling groups and in ads haha! Finally taking the time to sit down and learn more about it. I really like how the options are like “inverse” of each other with the gold and color on the cover and the art gilding! They look super nice together and I wouldn’t even know which one I would pick. I would probably use this to color more than to read it also, so I think I’ll practice self control and not get this 😅...for now 😂

I just bought an Inspire Bible, but not this specific one. I haven't done a thing with it, yet, This one is very beautiful. I'm a watercolor artist, so can appreciate this very much. I think I subscribed to your perfume channel, but it won't help me much, as I caught the Covid thing last January and haven't had my sense of smell or taste since. I used to love to wear perfume everyday, and now it doesn't do me much good.

So sorry to hear that! Sense of smell is one of our strongest senses and it can bring back so much memories with smelling different things. Knowing me, I would probably spend more time coloring and less time studying! My public confession, lol! I have two coloring books that I purchased from Christian book. com and I color once in a while, in my down time. I must admit that these are beautiful though. If I knew any crafty ladies, one of these would definitely be on a gift list.

Yes I agree with you. These are also good for therapy too I think because it’s relaxing to color and a lot of people find it to be very comforting. If you had a group of women that passed it around and each did a few pages and did some notes I think that would be pretty neat too. Plus while coloring in the verse you focus on it and it helps a lot in scripture memorization too. They’re pretty neat. I really like how they did the page edges and covers on these. I hope they come out with a male version, I feel bad for the male bible journalers that have to use notebooks. They are gorgeous bibles.

Yes they really need to come out with something for men rather than just a wide margin edition. I am sure men would like additional features in a wide margin. Not sure why nobody has done one but it’s hard to say. I know men who would like it and some who would say it’s not manly enough, lol. But it’s a great idea. At least add some devotions and maybe some masculine text style verses on pages. That would be neat. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it

@Keri Murphy, I totally agree with you!! I feel bad for the guys who barely have any options and how bible journaling seems to only target women. I think a lot of guys, and some of my creative guy friends, would love stuff like this. If you haven’t already heard of this one, I would recommend it! It’s the HCSB Illustrator’s Note Taking Bible. There’s a purple hardcover, brown imitation leather, and a paperback version! I think men could enjoy these. There are some illustrations inside but they are not overly feminine or anything. They’re super affordable as well because the HCSB is going out of print. I hope this helps if you are currently looking for something, but I hope publishers will make some journaling Bibles geared toward men as well.

I will get the inspire prayer after Christmas. The reason why I say that is because my husband plays Santa at our local mall. So my Christmas isn't until after Christmas. I have the inspire praise right now

A good idea for the ribbon is FrayCheck you can get it in the sewing department at Walmart or at any Joann crafts. If you apply The fray check to the end of the ribbon it will never fray.

Yes they are identical text blocks aside front the page edges that is. The gold one will be more durable of a cover than the multi colored one but typically a journaling Bible is one that stays at home so it would probably hold up pretty well. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it

Yes, Ribbons need to be longer and there sb 3. For ot, nt and psalms for daily reading plan.

I haven’t done anything on the velum pages at all yet. They come like they are in this video with the colors and all, they’re gorgeous. There are a few good videos on replacing the ribbons on KZfaq. The biggest thing is to just go slow and don’t rush it.

Line matching is when the text on one side of the page lines up with the text on the other side of the page which creates less ghosting and show through which is much easier on the eyes because you don’t have the distractions of seeing the text on the other side of the page. On this one I would probably opt for colored pencils because that’s the safest option against having something go through the pages but here’s a link to some Bible pens and highlighters that would be good for the note taking part. Just want people to be aware because not everyone knows how to change ribbons nor wants to. I’m fine with swapping them out but a lot of people are skeptical to try it. They’re nice Bibles though. It’s a great translation. It’s probably the one that gets the most hate from people though and I think it is unwarranted. There’s a reason why it’s the most popular Bible in the English language too. I use all the main translations and I feel like I am blessed by all of them. I love the variety. And it’s nice to compare verses in a handful of translations and it helps to make it make more sense. I think any type of colored pencils would do well in this one. Pens may bleed through but I’ve never had problems with colored pencils in Bibles. Thank you for watching and commenting. I appreciate it
