As a Laker/Kobe fan I used to hate LeBron, back in the 2000s/early 2010s you had to pick one! Until his 2nd stint with the Cavs I started respecting him because I hated the Warriors. He then became a Laker and will always be one...

Opposite for me. I was a LeBron fan and a Laker/Kobe hater. The more I watched and understood each of their game, the more I realized how much I disliked Lebron's whining and flopping, while at the same time, seeing Kobe play through pain and his mamba mentality. You don’t have to be a fan of one or the other if you appreciate good ball you know that Kobe was great and gave us amazing memories and LeBron has been and continues to be great. So we should just appreciate what we are seeing because like all things it will be gone one day. We can have the 🐐 debates but should always do so in an appreciative tone for what these guys have given us. RIP Kobe.

I am a die hard Kobe fan and used to hate/dislike Lebron until he won a chip in Cleveland. I had to watch him live and play in Staples Center during the bubble season to understand how good he really is. He did this 360 spin to the rim so easily and he hits timely 3s when the team needs him to score. I got so much more respect for him now then I ever had l in the past. He does still do some in game Load Management at times during his career 😢the season but I can forgive some of that but he has sat out more games the last 2 years because of injuries.

He already did. The bubble is one of the hardest because of the mental and the physical challenges that came with it. It was an even playing field - no home court advantage. Not having to travel across different states means everyone was well-rested and plenty of time to execute better game plan and strategies. It's not the Lakers' fault if the other teams were not mentally and physically prepared for the grind.

If you look at EVERY SINGLE FINALS STAT SHEET AFTER 2011 Lebron has put up the best series of finals/playoff numbers EVER. Career Top 10 or top 5 in every major category. The level of competition is way higher than Mjs. The SPURS dynasty. When lbjs team was actually healthy for the finals he BEAT the warrior’s dynasty so BAD they needed kevin Durant. The 2012 JAMES HARDEN KEVIN DURANT AND WESTBROOK TRIO?! WHO DID JORDAN BEAT?! An old magic, old drexler, a trash suns team that literally rolled over and died, a Karl Malone professional playoff choker, and Gary Payton. I mean come ON. 😂 that’s like Lebron beating the Charlotte bobcats In the finals. So far Bron been a disappointment idc what he did for the cavs and heat, i care about lakers ONLY. I hate when people say 'Kobe fan"....I NEVER heard of that growing up..I been playing basketball since I was 5 years old in 1995. I was born a Laker fan, my mom and uncles are Laker fans. When we drafted Kobe...OF COURSE we would go against anyone that tried to criticize him. KOBE IS OURS....don't hate on Laker fans and try to separate him from this franchise, as if he's some entity that's bigger than the team. Its ridiculous and disrespectful. 💜💛

I became a LeBron fan back in 2010 because I had my best friend and he will never stop talking about how great Kobe Bryant is so I just wanted to cheer for somebody that's not Kobe. Now looking back Kobe one of my favorite guys to watch.
