Today I want to share a little homemaking inspiration for the mom and/or homemaker who is feeling a bit overwhelmed and needs some encouragement. We all have seasons and stages of life that can be more challenging. I hope this encourages you today to know you are not alone in this and that you can keep doing the best you can.

Lovely vlog. I am so disappointed that nowadays homemaking is so undervalued these days when in reality homemaking is the most important job one can do for the family.

I am 66 and was not blessed to have children. If I had been a mom, I would have hoped to show all the joy, love, care and patience you show your children. They are certainly blessed to have you for their mother. You have a stillness and peace that comes across in the videos; it is quite compelling. Thank you for sharing these special videos with us. - Robyn in Stillwater

I have a journal that has little sayings or quotes at the top or bottom of the pages. One of them was so profound, I’ve never forgot it. It said - in some parts of the world, dirty dishes are a luxury. I pondered on that- it meant they had many dishes and the fact that they were dirty meant they had food to eat and also possibly other loved ones to eat with. I actually enjoy doing laundry 🧺 for the most part. I find the sound and smell of the washer and dryer very soothing. I am so grateful to have my own in my home. Homemaking is a lot of work and some not pleasant (like cleaning the bathroom)- but, we get to work for the coolest people!!! 😄

Awesome, heart warming. Thank you for being real. It’s is hard work, seems little appreciation for the home maker. But what a blessing it is, indeed.

Beautifully said! It's so sweet of you to encourage moms to give themselves grace on the days that are hard and things don't get done the way they want. I wanted to thank you for the encouragement for finding the joy in homemaking even for us empty nesters. There are days when just getting the laundry in the washer is the best I can do that day. I watch your videos because they are so thoughtful, and I can take what you offer to young moms and modify it to my life as an empty nester. Take care!

Homemaking and being a SAHM is the most important job. I don't know how we got away from this. My mum was a homemaker and I was so grateful for that growing up. I'm a homemaker but I don't have kids. I have a fatigue related illness so I'm lucky that I can be at home. Tending to home and husband is so fulfilling. ❤️ Love your videos!

@@DaveeKilian Thanks! 😊 Good days and bad days but I think it's a blessing in disguise. I love being a homemaker. You have to turn the lemons into lemonade right! And my husband is very supportive. So grateful. 🙏

Thank you for sharing such wisdom and reminding young moms to be kind to themselves. Children grow up so very fast, it’s a season to enjoy before they are grown. My daughter is 28 and now I get to enjoy my grandchildren. 💕

Filling those gummy bear trays looks like it would be relaxing in a way. One of those zen activities where you can just let your mind wander ☺️ Thanks Davee, I needed this today. I’m in one of those “swamped” weeks (months?) and getting discouraged 🧡
