I've read The Art of The Deal and many of Mr. Trump's other books and this is how all of the people who know him say he is like, extremely loyal. This isn't just the word of one or two people everybody says Trump is loyal to all his friends and when he tells you he's going to do something he does it. I know for sure this is one of the reasons he's been so successful.
