I had a blast as always, Misha! But once again it looks SO slow in video 🤣- as a pretend racing driver i'd like to excuse the pace by explaining that the car came straight from a 3000 km roadtrip, and i was babying it to keep both us and the car alive in the heat. Manfred (who is for sale if any disabled friends are looking for a toy!) traveled through Czech Republic, Austria, Italy, Switzerland and Liechtenstein before this video at the Nürburgring. So he was pretty beat up and still had ways to go, despite being trailered to/from Germany/Norway. Tempting to bring it back though - the Plaid comes with a tow hook 😉

clutch modyfication with motorcycle type hydraulic pressure pump (like many modern motorcycles uses now instead on steel line for clutch) attached to car stick shifter and accuator in gearbox for clutch operation would make shifting way easier and faster. Just a tip for owner! Great as always

This guy has been in the news several times in Norway due to his cool license plate. He had trouble with the road authorities not willing to grant him those plates, as it is a slur. But since he is disabled and uses the slur as a positive thing about himself he got the plates anyway. 👏

Great video! For context, right before this was filmed Adrian (the driver) has taken the car on a >2000km roadtrip across Germany, Czech Republic, Austria, Slovenia, Italy and Switzerland with a group of friends, with daily driving distances of 300-400km over Alpine roads and only overnight breaks. It was absolutely awesome, and the fact that the car and Adrian in it can handle such distances is nothing short of astonishing.

This was super cool to watch. The different car controls bring a different style of driving, more momentum in corners and relying on the torque of the engine to drive out if corners. I really enjoyed watching the way it all happened. The cosworth motor is still one of life’s great aural disappointments! Good things it pumps out the power it does.

Really awesome too see this ride an the mods made too it. I would change the link brake an clutch to some type of button on the stick shift for those instead so the gear shift is the only place you have to focus on while driving.maybe even a lever button for throttle like triger style kinda like a jet fighter stick. And still keep the throttle on the wheel also. am sure someone out there maybe even your self who could design it an install it. It be neat too see the lap time difference between the two types .

When I raced motorbikes there was a guy with one crippled arm who rode a supermoto. He went by 'One armed bandit'. Fairly quick on the tighter tracks, great on the corners of the longer tracks but the bike suffered on straights of any length (its a motard. They don't do straights)
