Just received the insta X2 as my first action camera and your tutorials have helped me so much. The features are definitely overwhelming, but with your tutelage it definitely makes it more simple to learn. Your videos are extremely helpful. Love them! Love your carbon fiber monopod! Can't wait to get me one of those. Not too keen on the insta 360 selfie stick, but for the price why not? Thank you for the amazing content Shanil!! Keep up the great work!

Great Tutorial keep up the consistent content. Looking Forward to INSTA360 bringing the missing "ADJUSTMENT" Editing Feature to Android Users soon hopefully. Should not be still missing after months and months being available for iphone only. Brightness, Contrast, Saturation, Sharpness, Highlights, Shadows slight tweaking and adjusting before export render will be much appreciated a long awaited feature that never reached Android, great for quick edits and quick uploading to social media. Hopefully Insta360 can see this comment and work on it. Maybe they have forgotten to add it in for Android. Especially as the One X2 is released and the feature still missing from Android.

Thanks for that great video. Realy helpful! Bit it's a shame, that the App does not have any options to zoom-in and -out in 2D-Fotos. And why do we still miss a text-feature??? @Insta360: Please take a look at GoPros Quik!

Btw... with the iOS branch of the Insta360app (yellow circle icon) you can also use videos/images (2D) taken with your mobile devices camera. Unfortunately the Android branch currently (v1.4.3) has no option to access the local devices camera roll.

A side request... I noticed that insta360 has 3 different versions of their invisible selfi sticks and that's not including the extended long carbon fiber one. Could you please compare the three.

Really enjoying these video! Thanks again! Would be good to have a video or guidance on how to do this with a video. Your photos were all taken on a tripod setup, but what if the camera had to be at the end of a long selfie stick? If you are on your own then using the phone is out and the only way I know is to use a video starting before you extend the selfie stick. Then you would need to work with video to create the photos. Essentially I need to be able to create photos for instagram etc. from the end of a long selfie stick. Hope that makes sense.

You can use your phone and self-timer feature to remote trigger the camera to take a photo

Thanks Shanil. I received my X@ only a couple of days ago. I am mainly interested in 360° spherical photos. Haven't dabbled into videos yet. The photos so far are quite grainy and not very sharp. The photos you featured in this video are quite nice and devoid of grain. How do I improve on that? Is there a way to find out if the firmware is up-to-date?

Hi. As a matter of interest, if we move on from the editing process to having the final 360 result is there a headset that you would recommend? I’m not particularly interested in gaming, I’m just after a really good way of viewing the 360 video/stills. Ideally I’d like to be able to have the headset “mirrored” on a TV so others can see what is being shown in the headset. Hopefully that makes sense. Thanks. Peter

I think this is only possible with Shot Lab templates. But you cannot choose your own music yet...

There are some difference for IOS and Android app in editing opportunities. My Ipad does not let refraiming photos :(

It’s a little tricky to do. It’s also different ways for android and iOS. You can either do it via usb cable from pc to phone or put it on camera sd card and download it to phone

I would like to use a photo (.dng or .jpg) from my phone camera and a video exported from the Insta360 Studio but I can't find a way to do it as the app only seems to support media from the 360 camera with file extension .insv.

Yes you need to put the insv file on your phone to combine the video and photo

When I go into “create story” like this my app looks nothing like this. Did the app change? Mine just looks like the normal video editing software of insta.
