Another brilliant video Ben. As a Fusion user who's fed up with endless waiting for stitching, I'm interested in the One X, however, your comments about needing to colour correct all video has really stopped me from buying it. Would I really need to colour correct every bit of video? If so what app do you use for this on your phone/tablet? Most 360 clips are short, so even if I record for 2 minutes I rarely use a clip length of over 30 seconds, but I might use lots of those small clips in a video, so having to colour correct for each clip, which might be in different locations (so you can't just copy and past colour profiles) does sound like a nightmare. Has the video colour got better in the month you've had it via updates? Thanks mate, I know there are a few big questions there 🤓

Thanks John- actually you can colour correct very easily in the app! Like I said it depends on the lighting.. sometimes the colours look great and sometimes they don’t. Not a big compromise in my opinion to get all of those awesome effects

Hey Ben great videos. I'm curious to your recommendation of the memory card. From what I can tell there is very little difference between the SanDisk extreme A2 and the extreme pro A2 (just 10mb faster read speed but much more expensive). Can you tell is this right, or is there more to it than this? Thanks

Thanks for the informative video. Can you tell me if the Insta360 ONE X has an option that will auto correct the angle so that if it is slightly crooked (non level ground) it will auto correct that? A few cameras such as the samsung gear 360 has that option and I've found it very useful when working on rougher terrains. Thanks in advance!

Hi Ben, I enjoy your videos, they are well done and interesting thank you. Is there any chance you could do a video on the Insta 360 one x software, step by step slowly and clearly please, I can’t find the editing buttons on the Insta one x windows studio version although they seem to exist on the older Insta 360 studio which is not comparable with the new one x videos. Also on the phone (recent Android) the editing does not seem to run smoothly as the demonstration video shows us and I can only register one modification like trimming the film, but not following the person. Howard.

Yes agreed.. there have been some firmware updates since my last video. And yeah you can colour correct but it stitch in FCPX

Great review with lot of beautiful images / videos. I've just received mine Insta 360 one X, so curious to check it. For me best features should be slowmotion and stabilization. Winter is coming in France and I will check it during skiing, I'm sure that can replace GoPro action cam in sports.

I started my channel because I was super stoked to make 3D content, so the idea of having VR180 and mono 360 together in one compact unit is pretty appealing. I may be being dumb but I need to ask. I know the 360 x shoots in 5.7k full 360 but what does it play back at. I know the 360 shoots at 4k but the play back certainly isn't displayed in 4k, more like 720p and looks horrible in shadowed areas or low light.? Question is am I going to get 4k play back or at least had???

What's up Ben. This is a Fantastic video. I've been a photographer for 20+ years, so these shots you're able to get are mind blowing to say the least. Well done. I have a question about time and battery usage. I plan on using the Insta360 on my ultralight aircraft, which means I cannot access the camera for some time, maybe an hour or more. The cameras I presently use, I power them with a USB cable and an external power source.....they will run for hours that way. I can start the camera(s) and not worry about if and when the battery will die. So my question is.....Is it possible to operate the Insta360 camera using an external power source? I would zip tie the cable tightly to the selfie stick, to keep it out of the field of vision. Please help if you have an answer. Thanks.

Hey- yes that combo will work but the selfie stick will be a bit too short to get to eye level. I’d recommend buying the Bushman monopod as featured in the video after this one 👍

Hi Ben, what is the best external voice recorder to use with this phone? I just simply need to do recordings at the office and make the recording sharp, with a tripod. Ben can you do a video on tips and tricks for positioning a 360 video camera, and how to get the best results? Not having to decide in advance where to point the camera means where you put the camera is all the more important especially for action video!

Hi Ben, PLEASE help me on 1 thing ... I just bought the insta360 one x but I don't know how to transfert my photos to my Imac ? when opening the files from micro SD card I can see each photo is 3 copy, I guess it's HDR, 1 overexposed 1 under-exposed and 1 normal.. I have a question - When area you must shooting is aprox. 20metres and long aprox. 150metres - HOW I can (must) shooting for virtual 360" tour? Every 4 metres as crosswords or? Can some answer me? Great review and video - I just learned my mobile is not compatible with the Insta360 ONE X app. What phone are you currently using? OR do you have a recommendation for the proper mobile. (I did look at the Insta360 site and saw their list of Android phones) Cheers!

hi Ben, kzfaq.info/get/bejne/Z91keaifvtCdpJc.html this was taken using one X. i exported using the desktop beta app. any reason why the vibration is so bad? flow state was checked.
