Very nice overview and testing of the new 360X, the camera seems to have a lot more promising features that its original model. BTW, did you try holding it in the bottom of the M2P to see if was still interfering with the GPS signal? I’ll be looking for your further reviews and updates on this camera, thank you.

Lake Hodges!! Cool review! I got my Rylo because of the stabilization useful editing on the fly but never was keen on the image quality of it. The new Insta 360 One X looks promising!

Good, thorough job, as always, Aldryn! Nice review. That's really disappointing about the GPS block! And you said the prior version didn't do that. Weird. Is it because of your mount being farther forward? (I have a battery mount for my MP, and it sits right over the battery, unlike this M2P mount (which also have). In other words, did you try that camera with this craft? I preferred the prior mount for that reason. Hopefully someone will make a new one like that. I've gone on too long! Enjoyed it! Thanks!

Well you might of to put it on the bottom of the Mavic 2 some how. There most be some kind electromagnetism with in the 360 oneX that’s interfering with the Mavic 2 compass!

Thanks for the informative video. Can you tell me if the Insta360 ONE X has an option that will auto correct the angle so that if it is slightly crooked (non level ground) it will auto correct that? A few cameras such as the samsung gear 360 has that option and I've found it very useful when working on rougher terrains. Thanks in advance!

You get better video attaching it below the drone anyway... They make attachments to hang it below or on front.

Best review of the Insta360 One X comes from a drone channel! Did you edit the 360 video on the phone or another workflow?

When you play back the footage on your iPhone and make movements to the shot, do you have to ‘live record’ it out at the same time as making the movements, or does it remember them, and then you just hit video export at the end ?

I really like the camera I was hoping to get it for my vacation but the camera ships out in 7 days so I dont think it will get here in time. They currently dont have them in stock. Anyone know where i can buy it ?

if you do a followup video on this, is there a way to turn off wifi and bluetooth? + put it at the bottom of the drone. if that works, then eliminate one variable at a time to get to the root cause of the interference. maybe it's a combination of things or one thing in particular. if all else fails, what about just local flying without gps? if the dji app restricts that then maybe a 3rd party app would allow it? thanks.

I did shoot another one with wifi off and it still had interference. I tried it on my Phantom and it worked.

it has more depth into the studio also you maybe add your logo or broll on the computer screen. What mic is that sounds clean.

You need to purchase a separate waterproof case just like the insta360 One

One plus with the housing is that the lens dome cancel the perspetive warp from being underwater - So it looks right there as well!

Geri Leyvita micro usb. They include the cord which u can plug into a power brick or computer to charge

Have you tried turning off the wifi of the 360 cam and run on that drone? Maybe the camera's wifi is interfering with the drone gps.

@@FlytPath does the GYTECH mount affect the GPS - without the camera? If the camera's proximity to the Mavic GPS is too close, could you add a little "lifter" (like a 50mm selfie stick) to lift the 360 cam off the Mavic's outer shell? What do you think?

Low light performance is better than the previous version because they use a Sony sensor with larger pixels than before.

When you purchase they have some packages. Most include the stick. Not sure about the handle. That might be separate.

Get extra batteries. They don’t last very long especially in cold weather.

I hope your table has a soft or rubberized surface. I wouldn't put the camera directly on a table for fear of scratching the lens.

Trying to see if I can get a 3d mount for the bottom. But I did fly it on my phantom 4 pro on the bottom and it worked.

I would not put this camera on a drone or helmet without its protective case available later. I scuffed both lenses on my Insta360One on my drone for some $300 repair. Again scuffed lens by inadvertently setting down my helmet. The scuffing leaves a blurred spot on the video, which I will live with for a rearward facing lens....

Great vid. (your mic. shutting Up & Down) ...(do Not use Insta360 wifi with the drone & oldTech 💩phone) (You can bay battery charger) (use hiTech phone not the Apple for Kids phone if you want strong wifi and GPS)

I just tried twice to order this camera from their website. I know I used a valid card and entered info correctly. Got email saying payment unsuccessful. I think their website is jacked up. Update - My credit card company rejected it because they were suspicious of the purchase. I contacted them and ok'ed the purchase. You may want to contact your card company beforehand and tell them to expect and accept charges

This kind of cameras are the future but the quality of the video is very low.... 5,7k but the videos don't look so good.

its only 400 dollars. no other 360 camera thats around that price range will shoot better video. 360 video isnt for 'quality' its for the experience. you capture life as it is, instead of a set focal point

Sucky audio and no jack, no HDR on stills, no in-camera stitching, quality of stills is still not up to Theta V even at higher res and low light, inconsistency in stitching, red dot of death and frequent lens flares.

You present this camera very well , But This camera is very bad, You are shooting yourself with a good camera with a good resolution, it's not fair , i have tried all camera 360 4 K or 5.7 K .As soon as you take off the 360 video ?? the quality is becomes very bad as 480 blurred video. You can not do video with a front lens 180 ?? only 360. This is bullshit. You can not shoot a video in the evening in the light of the day only in daylight only. You can take a Sony FDR-X3000 camera using a stabilizer to turn 360 and there will be a good resolution 4K and you can see perfectly. Plus , these are all cameras. Who makes it impossible to call them?? They don't have telephones. I'm sorry but it;s all true.

@@FlytPath I asked from their website and they replied that it only have glass common to other action cam. My concern is when you put it down on a table. A scratch on the glass with that wide angle can be seen on the footage.
