In this video I will walk you through installing your new color matched saddlebags. How to transfer your lids over to your new bags, install the proper hardware and adjust the exhaust for the stretched bags. Thank you! Until I watched this video, I added 5 " stretched saddlebags with 4.5 mufflers. Well I thought things were bent something wasn't right pipes were hitting the bags one on the outside one on the inside. So I spent a few hours measuring everything it was all ok. Still bewildered I turned to the internet found your video about adjusting the mufflers ! Ten minutes I was done adjusting them. Looks awesome who would of ever thought? Thanks again, Frenchy

Hey love your how to videos they are a big help I had to take back grommet off I have 41/2 tips neighbor haters I adjusted with the rubber pieces to move the back of bag fr.om pipe is the vibration normal.

Any advice for using Advanblack CVO bags/fender extension with stock lids and boneshaker exhaust? Installing in the next couple of days?

Great Video, thanks. Question, I have a 2014 FLHR and just received my order from Daytona Bike Week. However, I was a bit disappointed as the screw reinforcement plates that came with the hardware kit are all scratched and not even anywhere close to being polished. Guess they go to the inside? I have run into a 2nd issue. This issue is with the bag contacting the upper shock mount leaving a 1/4 inch gap for when mounting with the screws. Is this normal or are the bags not molded exactly?

I've got some advan bags and fender extension on my 17 road glide and have noticed the fender extension is rubbing the paint off the inside part of the bag from vibration I guess. What can i do about that

Hello. I just placed an order for my 2019 FLHR Road King, and have an install question. Your video does not address removal of OEM saddlebag guards, and how that will affect the black support bracket that the new bags sit on (because the saddlebag guard attach directly to them and support them). Please advise. Thank you.

So when I order the bags for my 15 SG, they will come.with the new screw in knobs to secure them to the bike?

Yes they will come with the knobs when you order the bags.

So do the plates go on outside or inside of the bag because this video shows outside and the cvo stretched bag video it said inside the bag which is it

it can go on either side.,..it does not natter. These are re enforcement plates thats all...your choice,.

Can't twist pipe any more. Didn't get any shims with order. Bottom rubber piece already in. What else can I do to stop pipe from hitting bag. What is distanxe recommended from pipe to bag? Thanks

You can order the exhaust brackets that push the pipe over. The twist method is the first method to try because it is free and usually works but if it doesn't you will need the brackets to push the pipe over. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/b5uqY7ie2crWfqs.html

I have 4.5 S&S slip ons mine are touching the axle but I have no more room to move in any suggestions?

if you cant go in with your exhaust you may have to shim out the bags. There should have been cut pieses of cushion in your hardware bag. I would use those on the saddlebag rail to shim out the bags.
