Well I ordered my lights months and months ago. Finally found them under a bunch of Amazon boxes lol. I'll order up the reverse lights too. I just swapped the license plate lights. IDK why the hell Ford made them both go in the same way. The light on the right doesn't show evenly like the light on the left. Since the housings both sit the same way and the lights point the same direction, the light goes in the same way and the shape of the LED lights I got doesn't show that great in the one on the right. But it's in there. Thanks for your great video on installing them, super easy took less than 2 minutes. It took longer to find something to pry the housing out than to actually swap them lol. Mine didn't just come out with my fingernail.

I just replaced my factory headlight bulbs with LEDs and didn't notice any difference in brightness or distance. As you said, it gives it a cleaner look and brings out more of what you're looking at.

How about the actual brake light itself - not the turn signal or back up light - does that HAVE to be serviced at the shop?

I have a 2018 explorer and when I'm at remote locations I can't see shit in the camera when I'm backing up. I was thinking about mounting an LED light somewhere and tying it into the reverse lights. Do you think switching to these LED reverse lights would provide enough illumination instead? I don't care about the color or making it look cleaner. The stock reverse lights are just crap.

question, what about the bulb grease? shouldn't there have been a small application applied to the bulbs before plugging them in? yet considering they are no polarity significant, maybe not?

🤨🤨🤨🤨 Yeah something is not right about the design of those reverse lights. That's not supposed to shoot out at an angle. Get your money back.
