Hey guys it's Shaan, and today I will be showing the Mercedes Star Light. This is a really cool modification to do to your car that doesn't require to much work and is really easy to do. The Mercedes Star Light Mod also looks really cool and makes your car stand out from the rest. This can be done on Mercedes Benz cars or any car that has a removable emblem in the front. The easiest place to wire the emblem to are the orange / yellow side marker lights. There's only two wires attached to the bulb a ground and a power. It's super easy and easily reversible.

When wired this way, will the star come on when I turn on my running lights? (eyebrows/side markers only function)

Probably could connect it to the parking lights so the cool effect is on without having to turn on the headlights. The LED's don't pull much amperage so the power to the parking lights is more than sufficient. However, I would not recommend using those wire splicers. They will allow for corrosion to get into your light wiring...no matter how much electrical tape you use. If you don't like to solder, then use heat shrink butt splicers. Need to keep moisture out. Thanks for the video. Just bought a 2016 C300 and was thinking about doing this very mod.

an easier way to take off the intakes is to pull from the other side he is disconnect and just pull off

I crimped the one headlight cable, so then it will turn on automatically when the headlights turn on. I also put the ground cable to the nearest metal frame. I guess I forgot to say in the video. Thanks for watching! 😁

It was in stock everywhere, but it seems like now, it's pretty hard to find them in stock. I will try to see if I can find them in stock. I do know that Mercedes now sells them, but they are pretty pricey if you buy it from them. Thanks for watching! 😀

It’s looking like.... no. I bought 2, one that “clicks” in and one that “spins” in. Welp they must thought “let’s just go ahead and send him 2 twist ins.” Good think mine is a click in. So if your twists..... I got 2. Fml

Hey them two pipes (don't know what they're called) that you removed first. One is on one side, and the other pipe thingy is on the other side..... what are they called???? My Mercedes-Benz is missing them two parts when i got it few days ago. Trying to let them know I'm missing them, but when they asked what am i talking about....i couldn't tell them because i didn't know what they were called lol 🙄🤦♀️so what are they called
