Once the first panel is locked in it's prity straight forward from there nice work
@ProudtobeaCivilEngineer3 жыл бұрын
Absolutely correct. However we should do verticality & alignment checks for each panels in two perpendicular directions.

What will be the cost of precast wall construction method in Tamil Nadu ,India

It's incredibly obvious these laborers were absolutely clueless, I'm surprised the thing didn't fall down as they were building it.

Jtx, just because the workers are underpaid, non-union, poorly-trained, and in many cases lack basic safety measures such as steel-toe boots, that doesn't _absolutely_ mean that the prime contractor (and local gov't) is pure scum... but it's a pretty solid indicator. ;')

Very slow guys ..Anyway pre-cast is not widely use for high rise bldg.in Philippines due to earthquake.Although some use pre-cast for high rise in the external perimeter walls. Glass panel walls common for high rise also.For my opinion more faster to install the panels if provided by block out on the slab.
@ProudtobeaCivilEngineer3 жыл бұрын
Seismic Loadings also considered in the design of precast elements. Therefore should be adequate enough to resist earthquake.

Despite the impressive number and spacing of rebars, this after-the-cast grouting is never going to be as strong as cast-in-place tunnel forms... and after (admittedly casual) observation, I can't see that it's any faster either... pity.
@tw0million3 жыл бұрын
The real pity is your total lack of understanding of the bigger picture. Speed of erection is a key benefit of larger scale precast installs. Yes, CIP forms have their advantages and, also, the exposed finished product looks better IMO. Unfortunately, the raw concrete is often covered up with finishes. Ultimately, the benefits and disadvantages of each method should be evaluated on a per project basis. Thanks for the video.
