hi friend, we are suggest to hide the kit to the foot place of passenger seat or driver seat, and put carplay usb cable to glove box for future firmware update. if you use wired android auto need to connect to the existing usbs. if use wireless android auto, no need to connect cable.

after install will the display then start on the carplay or the standard system? ex. when you turn on the car do you have to press the list button every time?

Hello friend, after installation. If you click auto connection, then once enter into car, it will connect with carplay system. If you didn't click auto connection, it will keep at original car standard system

Peugeot 2008 can connect 'My peugeot' application via bluetooth. The app can get the driving history, fuel efficiency, total distance, etc. I wondering it is possible to connect with app and get driving data from peugeot 2008 after installing your product same as before??

hi, our product is to provide another system for carplay/android auto/mirror function. driving history, fuel efficiency etc is original system function, they do not works at same time. if you want to check original system, you can press button in steering wheel to switch the system

I have a Peugeot 2008 -2016- and I have done this install. Everything works except I cant select AUX from the original smeg interface so I dont get sound in the carplay menu. The phone is connected to carplay and the interface appear on the touch screen but still the sound from original smeg plays. Which connection is for AUX?

you may can insert a aux jack in oem aux port to activate aux function.

You have to go Media settings and set the AUX amplifier to other value than OFF

@@michikar972 Not solved. Have to attached to the front camera port. To view, has to select manually which is inconvenient.
