Holy smokes...that install is not for the faint of heart. Totally committed and must really dislike the factory displays to undergo this operation. Definitely sweet...needs to come from the factory with your screen!

At 3:53 - make sure to remove (do NOT connect) the T-harness with the 4-pin connector to the left side connector on the top screen. With that harness extension connected, the backup camera on the 2019 will NOT work.

So the top screen has always been left in place? Does that cause any overheating issues with that screen on behind the unit?

Hey guys, thanks for this video. I just noticed the Mark 3 is available to purchase on your website. But quick question, do you have a ballpark estimate when you're going to be selling this with Android 9 software pre-loaded? I assume Android 9 will have fast boot & better app compatibility? And any other extra software features? :)

I have this installed. Can you tell me how to do a master reset to the unit, so it is completely 100% back to the factory. I have the file, but the KZfaq video you referred me to is accurate as I do not have the reset button on the front of my stereo.

Connect the factory screen and the new screen with T harnesses. Put the factory screen back to the original position.
