After more awkward styrofoam cutting than I would like, taping up all the holes and just mounting it on the lid, I got the AtomRC pan servo installed on my Dolphin. I have the pan/tilt setup but only used the pan parts for now. Seems like that might have been a good idea because it has made the plane quite top heavy. I’m considering going to the stock/short single antenna vs the 2 long ones I have installed as I think that will help some.
I have to say it’s pretty cool being able to look around while flying, even if you can see some of the parts of the gimbal setup when looking more rewards. It definitely gives you a different perspective when turning and being able to look down a bit.
I’ll make a short video in the very near future of the setup in INAV in case anyone is interested in seeing such a thing.
I also have a couple of the base plates for the servo setup and plan on installing them on my sailplane and my Zohd Altus.
