i know you dont color grade. but hear me out. limit your iso on the 03 to 400 or 800 and one days like this flight day slap a nd 16 or 32 on it. the colors will pop more. even if you dont change your iso use a n.d filter. it will help even with your flying. it will be less of the highlights hitting your eyes while you fly. also i found another flyer that seems to be from your neck of the woods. do you fly with dshot? youtube recommeded one of his videos to me today and he was flying over on the river and dwight merkel. with his flyfishrc voldar 5 dc saw the park and thought of you lol

Hi Erik, I noticed you have reviewed both this drone and the foldape4. I know none of them are built specifically for freestyling, but would like to check with you which one do you think is more fun to freestyle. Beginner drone pilot here with around 50 hours of acro mode in the simulator trying to decide on my first drone.
@smithe688 күн бұрын
@@daffes Hello! Of these two the Cinelog35 v2 is by far the better choice for freestyle. The foldape4 is pretty sluggish and underpowered and I suspect not very durable. I have found the CL35 to freestyle decently, it’s pretty tough and 6S power is great. I should also add it’s just more versatile in most ways. It’s pretty fast, can be flown slow, etc.

if you have some nd filters id slap them on there, and then change your iso to something like 200 to 400, and change your shutter to double of what your frame rate is, there is alot of breaking in your footage, it looks awesome dont get me wrong, but it will help make the colors pop even if your not color grading, it will add some motion blur. but most importantly is a nd 16 or 32 in this light. with out an exposure lock on the 03 the brighter the sky the more washed out everything will be. also i have a geprc croc 7 I built. im scared to fly it. just becuase of the size. (well 92% built. i need to add a vtx.) im looking to build a 4 inch LR. but havent decided if i want to go with geprc or flywoo for the frame. i always wanted to fly a LR I feel like i would be better at flying one than freestyle. but also cant get over LR battery prices. exspecially for 6s
@smithe688 күн бұрын
@@WhiteTrashFPV I do have them, it’s been about 6 months, but have not used them ever. I will have to give it a try, it’s just one more thing to fiddle with. Honestly, I don’t know what you mean by breaking in footage. When I watch it on my iPad or computer it looks super crisp and nice, KZfaq does mess with it some. So I don’t like the look of motion blur, it absolutely looks horrible to my eyes, what is the purpose of it? Sweet, I was considering that before going with the MOZ7, I think the Croc 7 is the way more efficient setup for sure. Love my 4 and 5” LR setups, they are really versatile, efficient and quiet! I do prefer just long cruising over freestyle, it’s a huge reason I have gotten into flying wings lately.
@WhiteTrashFPV8 күн бұрын
@smithe68 the motion blur occurs naturally when you have your shutter speed as low as you can. Cinema uses 23.9999 it's the closest shutter speed to look more natural. Nd 32 or 16 is best for mid day flights. I was thinking of doing the baby croc 4 frame but I don't like the fc/ vtx layout. The way it is, you have to mount the vtx to the top of the frame
