I'm a Duramax Owner, '01 2500HD Crew cab LB7 to be exact, wouldn't trade it in for the world, I love it, but I sure love that deep throaty sound those Cummins generate.

Hey man gotta give you some credit. 3 years ago I bought an 06 lbz, I do all my own work on the truck and your videos have saved my butt some many times! Late nights trying to get the truck fixed or what not, struggling with somethin. I pull out my phone to see how the hell truck master did it. Just last night worked on the truck until 1 a.m and you came to the rescue again with that water pump video. Your the man keep on rockin!!

This truck is turning out sweet man, I can't wait to see it done! I'm saving my pennies to do compounds on my 4th gen Cummins. I think white pipes with red housings would look good and keep that red, white and blue going down in the power barn!

I say you nickel it. Nickel on the kobalt Blue would prob look sweet. Also when I installed my compound kit on my LMM I welded on a v band onto the downpipe @ the exhaust pipe or you'll never be able to remove your exhaust from the truck. I have a 4" to 8" exhaust dump tip and with a big truck, without trying to look obnoxious or dumb I'd say an 8" tip looks beefy but not dumb. Don't go any bigger. Also it's only loud cuz it's a Dodge. Compounds made my LMM run quieter cuz the 2nd turbo muffles the exhaust.

5 inch straight pipe is way quieter than a 4 inch. I have an s366 over a s475 and I love it. I like not having drone in the cab lol

From experience the only reason id stay away from white is cause you have to constantly clean it for it to look good. If you do just the compressor housings in white thats not to bad, then the piping in darker color. Cause its hard to get them tight places to clean with the white. That thing is going to be pretty stout when its all done.

10inch axle dump looks so good that’s what I have on my 7.3, 10inch tip is also the perfect size for a rumble not a raspy sound

White would be nice but get dirty fast haha and red might be to much. Maybe piping white and housings blue or red.. mix it up a bit and it will look great :) you make great choices in colors so im sure you'll make it look good :)

If you get sound deadener for the firewall and add it to whatever is there already on the inside of the cab it will help with engine droning noise a bit, I got a new set of engine bay firewall pad as well and that helped also :) its coming along great though and don't beat yourself up at all we all have forgotten something or made some mistakes haha so it's all good man we all do it haha like running outta fuel happens to tons of ppl lol :)❤

Best upgrade I ever did was my 7875 over s488. Next was my bd torqloc. I own both a 12v and 24v trucks. If you ever want to make power with that truck either swap tona 24v or war head. The 12v head really kills air flow.

Also that truck is double as loud as it should be. I run a 5" turbo back full "5 not necked anywhere on a billet 363/475 set up on a maxed out 12mm p pump no muffler. There is a night a day difference . That ultra loose manifold crap shoot is probably contributing to the noise

I have a check engine light on for my 2007.5 duramax for my intake air heater! I accidentally arced the wires to the metal. Is there a relay or a fuse you know about I can check? I need to smogg my truck in a couple months. Please help!

So I make my own compound kits. This has to be the worst display of a kit that does not fit with the parts supplied due to what ever . I found the easy way to make an oil leak on the atmosphere charger is to drain it back to the rear location when the charger is mounted in that location. Move the drain from that charger to the front location and the manifold charger to the rear location . You will find the longer line will allow easy install and no leaks.

Hey man love your content and all your builds. I know this isn’t related to your video but I have been having trouble with my lb7 it doesn’t have much power acceleration. I can step on the gas pedal and it won’t speed up or when I’m going up hill it starts loosing power. I change fuel filter, air filter. Don’t want to mess with the Spark plugs cause my truck doesn’t shake or struggle to turn on. Was hoping maybe you can give a ideal of what it can be

Luckily your diesel doesn’t use spark plugs but I would recommend that you change the fuel filter and see if that helps also it could be injectors of a turbo issue as well
