@@topiqchill241 alternator whine is usually a ground loop problem. Try to have one common ground point for all your equipment. You can disconnect one piece at a time and see if you can find the problem. Unplug the RCA's going into whatever is after your head unit (EQ?) then keep doing that down the chain until you find where the noise stops. If the noise is still there with nothing going into your amp to your highs, then it's that amp. If it just started it might be that Boss piece you just put in.
