You should have included that you have to purchase that brass elbow with the 3/4 fitting to attach to the dishwasher to hook up the 3/8 inch water line. Bosch does not include that adapter for some reason. You can purchase that 3/4 to 3/8 adapter at Lowes or Home Depot. To adjust those feet wait to put on those two brackets for the toe panel and you will have more room. The electric junction box should be mounted to the wall and make sure you do not mount it behind the dishwasher as 99 times out of 100 there is not enough room to push the dishwasher all the way into the hole. Bosch says to mount the junction box to the other side of the side wall away from the dishwasher. In your case you have a lot of extra room to have mounted the box on the wall to the right of the dishwasher. Just some tips to make it easier for others.

I looked at several Bosh installation videos, but this is my favorite. Down to Earth with a lot of frustrations I encountered. I love your attitude. just "git 'er done!"

I was trouble-shooting my 13yr old Bosch so I played around with connections which made me think, "there is not many connections down here...power, water in & water out" Then I watched your video to confirm I could do the install and ta-da!!! done-zo.

Well stated! I almost hired a 'professional' (that woulda cost me another $200+) - but after uninstalling the old Kenmore, and noticing the ready-to-go connections, it was easy-peasy to just do it myself. Like you, I almost let loose the line box, but decided to mount it in case of flooding. I dispensed with the beer, but enjoyed a couple bourbons after the Bosch went through a cycle (read: it worked!)

This was incredibly helpful! Sadly in my install I got everything set up, then realized the entire bottom hinge assembly/door was smashed in during transit... Was so focused on getting it hooked up and installed I didn't even notice the door didn't open/shut

Entertaining installation video! Hey, just take the weight off the front feet to easily adjust them. Maybe a wooden wedge under the front bottom lip if you can’t wedge it up with one hand or fist while spinning the feet out with the screwdriver. Then remove the wedge when you have it close to where you want it. Bet that would take some of the swearing out of the process.

Thanks for tips and vid but didn't understand your pro tip.. How are you supposed to adjust the feet before putting in place? How would you know the exact height and level as each surface and floor can be slightly different. I think pro tip would be just to use a wrench 17 and that it sucks but necessary step of the install.

To adjust the feet, please raise the unit up slightly. It will be much easier.

Don't forget to turn the water on like me...started watching this after i finished to make sure i didnt forget anything and was like oh shit...thats why its so damn quiet...ran it for like 5min. Hopefully i didn't screw up the pump 🤦.

I have a used Bosch I’m replacing my very old dishwasher with. The replacement Bosch has controls similar to yours. It appears the counter impedes the use of the controls. Is there a work-around needed to accommodate the push button controls on the top of the door?

Did it come with the electrical plug to go into wall and you had to buy the junction box, or did it come with neither?

What a pain in the @$$ the water inlet was (not sure if you had the same problem). Since it's plastic I was concerned with it cracking. I ended up popping it reticular plastic cover holding the connector out so I had a better change of getting teflon tape around it, and then carefully securing the elbow brace. Why couldn't they just expose a 3/8 brass connection? After securing under my countertop, I then noticed some extra instructions regarding stress relief brackets for the corners. NOPE. Not gonna happen after I just drilled new holes in my cabinets to hold it where it is nice and tight now. Plus you didn't use them either so I should be good right (LOL).

My hardwire connection from my wall doesnt have the greenwire/groundwire isnt there. Whats a good solution?

A compression fitting shouldn't have Teflon tape on it.

Probably not a good idea to just toss the junction box and wiring in the back and push the washer in. If a leak occures, the junction box is not protected. An electrician would mount it correctly.

How did you know which wire to put in L N or G?

LNG = LOAD / Neutral / Ground😉
