Hi everyone,
Welcome back to Kevs Shed.
In this video I am going to attempt to install a DAB radio adaptor to my existing car stereo.
In all honestly I think you'll be surprised at how easy it is.
There is no need to pay Halfords a silly amount of cash to do this for you when you could achieve it yourself in less than an hour.

Can i install this without the aux lead as don't have the hole to connect it

Are you aware we can't see a single thing your doing as your camera is not positioned correctly? The explanation was pretty good though 🤣

The reason for DAB is digital auto quality, by putting it through an FM receiver you are completely ruining that digital audio by downscaling it to analogue. A completely pointless thing to do, just replace the factory unit with a proper DAB radio and install a stalk interface if you want to keep the steering wheel controls. In other words don't half ass it do it right.

I’m inclined to disagree, many FM stations have switched to digital only meaning this option allows continued listening. I do however agree about the quality of the audio, but then I never stated this was useful in an AQ competition either! You do you bro!
