To anyone watching this video, do not use wire nuts in your car. These are not a secure connection for a moving vehicle with vibrations. Inside a wall that never gets touched again for years is the only application for such a connection.

I got it at Home Depot this is the name of it. Basset Products 3/4 in. x 50 ft. Perforated Galvanized Steel Duct Strap hopefully this helps you out bro👍

I like your enthusiasm. Wire nuts should not be in use anywhere in a car. There are crimp types that can be used, some made especially for car audio. I prefer to solder mine and heat shrink but its a lot more trouble and time.

I did went back and solder the wires together. At the time I did this video all I had was wire nuts. Thanks for watching. Appreciate it a lot👍

Good vid man! I want to do the same thing with my 97 mustang. But I wanna install a Corehan Android 7” double din. The bezel that I’m getting says it fits 94-02. Do you think the Corehan 7” will fit? Thanks

Hi my friend! All I did was support it at the bottom with the dubble din kit, and so far i have not had any problems with it pushing in at the top and vibrating.

Holy shit “Guys, guys, guys, guys, guys, guys” Don’t use wire nuts that are intended for use in your home, just use the damn crimp connectors. They take up way less space, and they are actually meant for wiring in a car. I know it’s been said before, and I know he went back a fixed it, but still. You can make your car catch on fire doing that shit. And plumbers tape for support? Decent ingenuity, but I’d be livid if I ever bought a car and found that down the road. It’s not that hard to make a proper bracket for it, shit most double din install kits come with a box for that if you get the right kit. I watched the video just to see how a double din would look in the car. Oh, and it’s a bezel not “basil”
