Kapton tip. Cut a small piece of plastic and after you cut the tape, attach the end on the roll to the small piece of plastic. Now it's always easy to find the end of the tape and peel it back.

Nice install. I too had to unscrew the lightboard in my current release gp7 to install the loksound nano.

The E24 connector is mechanically a big step from the N18. Zimo anounced decoders with this interface too.

That's one reason I like n scale . Easy decoder install. Also, my daughter stole that light from me and found out it does multi color too.
