What’s up KZfaq!!!
Welcome back to another video! Today we will be installing a Seibon Carbon Fiber Hood for my 2007 Lexus IS350!
Hope you guys enjoy and I hope I was able to help you guys install or motivate you to get a hood of your own!

Thank my dude! And good choice! And I did not end up running hood pins I did not feel comfortable cutting into a brand new carbon hood lol, I know it is recommended but I never had any issues

I would have a body shop spray 3-4 coats of clear coat. The gel coat on the hood comes with WILL turn yellow and start to fade/crack very quickly from the sun Even if you use wax/ sealant. Also with the added clear coat, it will look 100% better.

Yeah I was thinking about it! Also some extra protection for scratches, will do in the future! Not really in a rush since it is garage kept. But thanks for the advice I appreciate it!

Highly recommend removing those struts, those oem struts are specifically designed to hold up the stock metal hood, those struts have well over a 100lbs of pressure each, wayy too much pressure for a carbon fiber hood, leaving those struts on will start to warp and deform the hood, also you run the risk of your hood flying open while you're driving, especially since you don't have hood pins on.

I can’t get mine to close? Did you run the washer and the little thing that goes in the screw hole for the 4 screws that connect to clamps?

Una pregunta. Tengo un lexus is f 2008 ese es el v8 y me chocaron y me desvarataron todo por atras osea todo el rear bumper +rear Reinforcement + el baul y las luces. Puedo ponerle toda esas partes que me hacen farta de un 250 o un 35o?

I sadly sold the car, but had the hood for couple of months, and didn’t yellow because I kept the car inside of a garage, I would recommend better clear coat or ceramic coating
