Hi Pedro, Now that your running a carbon hood i'd invest in some Aero Catches / Hood Pins for safety. I really wouldn't trust the factory latch to keep a lightweight carbon hood down at the speeds you'll be doing at events / tracks. Keep up the good work buddy.

Weight savings to the max! That's a bit disappointing on the weight savings of the hood. The thing to remember is that most carbon hoods are wet carbon overlay which tends to be on the heavier side versus just going with a fiberglass hood. In terms of exhaust I prefer a fender exit due to the cabin air intake being in that corner, too much exhaust fumes ends up getting in the cabin but not everyone wants to cut up their car. I'm not sure if your looking for other places to save weight but theirs a company in the UK that makes preformed Lexan windows to replace the rest of them for a reasonable price, they are called plastics4performance.

CF IS lighter if you have a STEEL hood or STEEL fenders. But newer cars have thin aluminum or even plastic fenders which are lighter than CF ... CF is ugly IMO but for those who like it, more power to you.

EYI weight savings is good unless it causes the loss of tire traction. It's a undiscussed issue that super important. Is it better to weight distributed over entire length or crap load added back in one spot?
