@@RomeoWarden Yup, same part for both. Since you're installing the CC, you'll be able to check for the cable, but as it's from a 2021, it should be there.

@@AbstractOcean Thanks for the answer ! On the website, the estimated shipping delay is 1 to 4 weeks, is it still the right one if I order it in Switzerland ? I will probably retrofit the console in 10 days, would be really nice to have it on time but I don’t think it will be possible haha

@@RomeoWarden Yeah, it's a wide window as it varies so much depending on the local postal service. 4 weeks is the extreme, on average we're seeing deliveries to most of Europe in the 10-14 day timeframe (but Christmas peak volumes might push that out a bit). We ship everything in a day, then it's over to the postal services!

That's because on the 2022 and 2023 Tesla did not include it . Some places include the cable.

You'll need to run a USB-Mini - mini cable from the module to the USB port on the computer behind the glovebox (i.e. where the factory cable originally used to connect). We just got our '23 Model Y, so will be doing a video in the next week or two showing that (we have the cable on our site too: abstractocean.com/products/usb-c-upgrade-module?variant=42019736551597). It's an easy run, just tucks behind trim.

@@dmwiningar1 That's the issue, it might not be there. You're at the start of the window with a June build, so chances are good that it is, but Tesla are not consistent with these things. If there's a cable plugged into the USB port on the computer, then it's probably hiding in the center console area somewhere, but if the socket on the computer is open, then there's no cable.

Hmmm, as long as the cable is plugged in correctly there's not much else to try, but you could connecting a data source to the cable you found (it should be micro-usb); if that works, then the cable is good, so please reach out to support@abstractocean.com and we can try a new module.

@@WhiteWi It's entirely possible. The fact it's there makes that unlikely, since in later builds they removed the cable entirely, but you never know.

Same bought the module, have the data cable but no data. I think the other end is not plugged in so need to find where the other end is. Easiest solution is just buy an external mini usb cable

It restores data capability for the center console ports on 2022+ Model 3/Y's

@@dillonle4034 no; there’s other options out there that will do that, but the ones we’ve tried are very laggy.

Why didn't you guys include a cable for the 2022 and 2023 where tesla left the cable out.
