Hi I have just purchased a Dimplex heater and the thermostats, am I able to have the heater turn off at night and still have the day settings retained,I don't like it being on at night.

Hi there, thank you for these instructions, I have followed them perfectly except I have only programmed two settings. 1. Night Mode 23:00 & 2. Heat mode 20:00. I would expect that this means the heater will stay off all day and only turn on between 8pm and 11pm and then go off again until the next 8pm cycle. However, for some reason the heater wants to turn on much earlier than that at around 5pm. I have tried removing the settings and doing them again, but it keeps happening. Have you heard of this before?

Hi Chrissie, I believe the designers thought it would be a clever idea if the heater switched on in advance so that the room would be at the desired temperature at the start time.

Anyone know how to unlock it? I have an issue where I accidently covered the heater and it shut itself down to prevent it from causing a fire. But now it's just locked me out and I can't get any heat from it. Anyone know a work around.

You can switch the heating on when you need it (i.e. override the settings), but it's easier if you just set up a timed programme. What exactly isn't working? Perhaps you've set the timings wrong?

Nicky Nunn on the control unit on the heater. If you set a timed program you can always increase or decrease the temperature or flick onto the day program if it's currently night or night if it's currently day using the top left button

Setting the timer for each mode is all well and good, but you do not show users how to configure the required temperature for the set times.

God almighty - no wonder I can’t drive mine. As well as these new ones, I have one of the older Nobos and that was simplicity in comparison. My problem - before finding this video I attempted to setup from the incomprehensible instructions. Now I seem to have a couple of programs set. How do I either delete them or edit them? Anyone?

Would anyone be able to help with just setting a timer to turn on? I'm only trying to set it mon-fri 5:30-6:45am and 5:00-6:00pm

Hi, I think if you set it to comfort setting at 5:30, setback at 6:45, comfort at 17:00, setback at 1800. If you want if to then off then just set the temperature in setback mode to 5 degrees

I have followed the above time profiles as they work for me too - but how do you have a different temp set for a) comfort and b) setback modes? I can only seem to set one temperature. Or do you have to adjust the temp on the panel each and every time?

@@AlexNothling you can set a different temp for comfort and setback. I can’t remember how, but follow the instructions dont think its too difficult
