Just went to check on the unit, the unit has a red light where it indicates ‘Fan Failure’, was working ok the other day.Maybe it is due to change of tenant , and need to get in touch with my Electricity supplier.

Hey! What type of filters which you recommend? I'm looking at filter mate which has G3, G4 and M5 but which one would you recommend??

We usually just fit the standard ones, I guess the pollen ones would be good for those with hay fever but we have never fitted them.

Fit the standard ones, any more may hinder performance as they will have a higher pressure drop.

No this is not a heating unit, it re-uses the heat from bathrooms and kitchens. If the hot air is not needed it will dump the air to outside.

How do you commission it? Can I turn up the trickle rate if I want stronger ventilation?

Best get a qualified person as you need an anemometer to test the flow rates at ever air valve. They will set trickle and boost rates for you

It is possible to change the fan speeds at the front - but you will need to ensure you have the correct flow rates for your building.

My unit is currently on speed 2. Is the a way to turn the speed down?

There are potentiometers on the front you should be able to change the fan speeds on boost or trickle there.

I have a model and ever time I turn it on it kicks in then dies off then says supply fan fault any ideas please ?

Fan usually needs replacing. Call nauire and they will recommend an engineer to replace.

how do you wire for boost to work?

Usually people wire to a double switch beside the light switch. One for light and one for boost. Wiring diagram will show you where to connect within the unit.

@@watfordplumbers6158 thanks for your video I sort out boost switch and add one in kitchen as well thanks to you for good idea. is there possible to use smart switch for boost so I can set schedule? if you have a idea.

Dreadful installation, why is your external not Lagged, Flexi also looks very long, also, using wrong flexi on your internals, Mvhr unit could of been installed alot higher up the wall with a potential boxing around flexi, if it was my house, would of not used flexi, would of used round, 125mm hard pipe, By the way I'm a sssts gold card cscs supervisor, for plumbing and ventilation, I done 1000s of these units, if one of my operatives done this installation it would be snagged

We insulate all the externals coming down afterwards as we find the insulated flex is too hard to install and never looks greats. We always use flex onto the top of the unit as we find it breaks sound transfer, this is allowed once it’s less than 300mm. More often than not this will all get boxed in anyway. PS: you are my hero with all your cards🙄
