In this video, Kev decided her wanted to make his car louder and upgrade his exhaust system. We replaced the stock resonators with Borla's Over-Axle Pipes to give the car a much more aggressive sound.

Those heat shields are supposed to go on the exhaust pipe near the bend over the axle

@@AlphaX13 actually I think you did it right...my bad! I just ordered a set of the borla over axle pipes and one of the reviews on the website said they go on the pipe but looking at em, I don't think they're large enough to slip over the pipe

The borla over axles showed up in the mail today and I took one of the pipes out and tried to see if the heat shield would slip over the pipe. No way in hell that heat shield is supposed to go on the pipe so you def. Put the heat shield where they were supposed to go! Sorry to confuse anyone about that!

Does the borla over axle pipes bolt right up to the corsa axle back mufflers?

I’ve got a 14’ 5.0 with Roush axlebacks, bbk x pipe, resonator and cat deletes and am wondering if it’d be louder removing the muffler and adding the borla axle over pipes… what do u think??

Installing the over axles on the car is the video definitely made a noticeable change in the sound of the car as well as caused it to back fire and pop more often. Running long tube headers might be something to consider too if you aren’t already running those.

Would this be louder than just a regular resonator delete? I want to get these but it’s hard to justify spending the money if all it does is delete the resonators. So do you think it’s worth it over just a regular resonator delete?

Essentially that’s all it does, I believe it is bigger than the stock pipe as well. From a 2.5” to 3”, but I could be wrong. I will say that with these it is noticeably louder, but I haven’t heard one with just a resonator delete.
