Never put oil between parts that are bolted together and move as one piece. Those bolts are for clamping load not sheer load. The parts could slide and cause the bolts to stretch. You don't oil a wheel bolts, brake disc or the clutch plate when you install it do you? Of course not! Those parts are held by friction and you are reducing the effect of forces that holds the part!!! Granted it's only a timing chain driving cams, but you could develop timing issues later down the line. I've seen it happen, we saw flames out of the intake lol. And the shaft had to be replaced because the mount was destroyed and could not be welded and ground back in shape. This was on K series and without any oil contaminating the join. So if it can fail unlubricated it will almost certainly be worse with lube. It might be able to vibrate on oil too.
