Yes, we always have an overspray issue. It is amazing how easily overspray comes up with 3M Adhesive Cleaner #108984 and a rag. However, it is not a bad idea to spread plastic out to avoide the overspray issue.

The upside to all of this is dat Jim can probably eat a flip flop slipper and tell himself it's a Black Angus steak. His smell and taste won't tell him otherwise so it's a great moneysaver. Other than that I greatly appreciate your vids. Really helpful with my boat project.

Any overspray issues spraying INSIDE the vessel?

Why not just paint? That surface seems like it would attract dirt and be impossible to clean.

The paint forms ( or formed) a vapor and moisture barrier on the hull, and is extremely important on the underside of the plywood decking. The smart money will paint the plywood well with gloss enamel.. OR sand it and apply diluted epoxy to saturate and seal the plywood. Condensation will occur on the underside of the deck, especially in the unvented quarter berth, and that moisture ( from cooking, breathing, and general wetness) will be held and hidden by the fabric eventually destroying the integrity of the wood,. unless it is protected. So F for foresight, and D+ for prep.
