Finally got the Fortune Auto 500 series coilovers on the Type R! We also take a small look at the progress made on the Evo 8 custom turbo build! Huge thank you to Jon and Richard at @enticedmotorsports for helping me get these on! It was definitely a mission but the Type R looks INSANE lowered!

One thing that I love about my type r is the height, high enough so that I barely scrape the front. When I drive my Shelby GT350, that's another story, I've had to replace the chin splitter twice already and soon will be going to my third.

You are trying to do track and auto cross with the evo and your doing a hood dump exhaust? Doesn’t a lot of those places have decibel limits you can’t exceed. I personally think it’s ruins the clean lines of the hood but you do you man. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done.

I put D2 Springs on my 17Si and dude it was the biggest pain in the shit. So much more time consuming than the 8th and 9th gen civics. This looked identical to my install. Glad it got done

May look nice, but seriously, you have a car that has beaten may speed records around the track with stock suspension and you fit a shitty coilover kit that costs 1300-1500 bucks? the Oem suspension probably costs x3 times that and makes the car perform 3 times more, has a lot of expertice put in it to make the car go perfect. Also, lowering the car seems nice but MOST of the time if you don't do corner balance with weight you loose the setup that many engineers from honda developed... :(

It looks good lowered. If you just want to ride around normal, look cool never put the car through tough paces then your good to go. Watch your underbody kit in a few months it may not look as pretty. I would only drop 1 to 1-1/2" max, Why? To avoid expensive damage, Nice thing about coilovers you can dial it back up right on the car. Nice!

what's the sensors doing exactly ?, is it for the variable damping or just ride adjustments (comfort - R+), is the ECU on the car automatically stiffen the suspension ?

When I was younger we would kill to get like the Honda type SH suspension and drool over electronic sensing dampening systems. But back then we wanted to race our cars, not park them at car meets.
