BMC64 is incredible. I upgraded my TheC64 Maxi to this, using the keyboard, and so happy I did. This, combined with JiffyDos is amazing. Thanks for showing us your DB9 joystick work. Might add this to BmcMAXI64 project.

I had and have BMC64 running perfectly and smoothly on a Raspberry pi 3B+ and wanted to switch BMC64 to a Pi3A+ instead so that i could use the 3B+ on another retropie box i'm working on.. When inserting the ready made and working sdcard on the pi 3A+, i get a red solid led with the green led flasing 4 long blinks followed by 7 short and quick blinks. I have tried settng up from scratch on another sdcard, with the same results. I have verified that the pi 3A+ does boot normally with the sdcard flashed to noobs raspi OS. I do have 2 brand new 3A+ and i always end up with these results.

Do you know where to find documentation to GPIO connect a C64 keyboard to the Pi for this? (if would be similar to how the controllers were connected)
