came on your video a day late. I have a 19 Trail Boss that I blacked out. all my add ons are matte to contrast the gloss, I did not paint mine. it was funny to basically watch myself (you) doing the install. I am OCD with measuring and final placement and checked each side multiple times. Air Design answered my email re: driving after. they recommend nothing over 25mph for 24 hrs and not washing for 48 hrs. I do like the painted because of the contrast that mine doesn't really have. well done !

Amazing look, you really made it look more intimidating. I am working on my Chevy colorado 2018, did the installation, and for how small the colorado is by comparison, it looks intimidating. A zombie killer.😂

Everyone is a bodyman and painter nowadays Those shorter sweeping stokes only cause the tip to clog up and spit out drops you’re gonna wanna do sweeping motions from one edge to the other makes for more even color on a metallic paint those short strokes gonna leave tiger stripes all over

Still find it insane at4 doesn’t have the same hood scoop the Trail Boss does. Seems like a miss on the GMC side for the sake of being “different”

Great job. I have a scoop just like it on order. My truck is white so I may just leave it black. If I paint it will be the inside piece probably white hood the bottom part black and top part white. What’s your thoughts?

I've seen a couple where they've done that and it does look good! I think it helps it pop more on the white

Looks great! Just a quick question, does the hood scoop have any holes? I'm concerned about the dust/dirt/moisture between the scoop and the body/hood.

Yes it does, has a couple little holes if I remember correctly.

yes. there are open spots on the bottom piece and holes in the "vents" on top

I want to get a hood scoop that I can actually use, I have a 2.7 and it has a big turbo and would like to let more air through.

Ram air makes a pretty good hood, would just need some work getting it perfect

I really want this on my ‘23 silverado, but I’m so iffy about the adhesive. If I don’t like the appearance of the scoop, I would take it off and idk how hard to take that adhesive off of my paint

I just removed mine and ordered a new one. I learn that vegetable oil will loosen the adhesive no joke. Mine came off within 20 minutes after soaking the eggs with vegetable oil. and if you use Goof adhesive remover it will not harm your paint seriously and use plastic razors to scrape off the adhesive and 3M tape.

Did you wet sand after the clear coat?

Yes I did. In the video when zoom in and actually show the orange peel, I actually wet sanded with I believe 600 grit, then 1500 then resprayed the clear again with the final coat being very heavy. Then wet sanded with 1500 and 3000 then polished to get zero orange peel
