YESSS!!! "You lubed the bolt threads" like a professional mechanic should. I hope anyone seeing this video learns this simple technic whenever you install a bolt or a nut you must lube the threads and the head, or the side of the nut that makes contact. This guarantees the bolts and nuts will stay tight, and months or years down the road they will be easy to remove because the threads will not corrode.

Haha I had to learn the hard way but now I never forget to add it to my bolts 🤘

Need to slide the top guide down so the sides cover your chain

The way you explain things and show makes it really easy to understand! btw what do you use to clean your chainring, bolts etc.

Does you chain jump out of the chainring? or what's the reason you are installing this chainguide?

The chain never comes off (with or without the chain guide) but the main reason I got the new part is because it is a bash guard as well, so it protects my sprocket and chain from getting hit on rocks 👍

Haha I used to back in the day, wasn’t the most comfortable climb because of the geometry though 😭😭

Any idea if the chain guide's pulley wheel is plastic or metal?

I believe they are plastic. The part that attaches to the bike is metal but the pulley wheels along with the bash guard and chain guide are made of a hard plastic. Hope that helps 👍

@@GabeGarcia cheers 🍻, that does help a lot, I bought a similar ztto chain guide that comes with a noisy metal one, been searching for a budget guide that comes with a plastic one for a while 😎
